I've met a lot of cool people. I've met a lot of famous musicians, athletes and the like and I can honestly say that AB is one of the coolest guys I've ever met both because he is funny as hell and because he is one of the nicest people anywhere.

If more people were like him, this world would be a much nicer place to live.

Ditto. I can't believe that anyone who mercilessly gives him **** on this board has ever met him. Or if they have, it says a lot about that person.

AB treated me and my ex to a night of laughs and drinks...all on his tab. I had never met the guy before that night. I'm happy that he's been able to overcome a lot of his problems and extremely sad that he had to go through them to begin with.

Now I want to take his money in poker. :D

    Good thread.

Im a big fan of Lexapro. I got really depressed and anxious for a while and this stuff really helped. Im not a big advocate of drugs, but this one really worked for me.

I think different things work for different people. I really didnt know I had a big problem with anxiety and depression until I went to see a Doc in Austin. He really helped me out. I started to see a shrink here in Houston, and hes the one that prescribed Lexapro. Ive progressed by leaps and bounds, but still have the occasional bad day (like today). It helps to keep positive friends around you (Im lucky to have them) and focus on the good in life.

    RM95 -

Sorry about your sis. Cia Cia has told me some stories of the conflicts between her and Rene. Doesnt sound like a great situation, but hopefully its something that will improve with time. It may be a jealous thing, but she should learn to deal with the fact that you have a life to live too. Thats not fair to you. But I can understand the state she might be in. She should try the meds again, or at least go see someone. Try and be as supportive as you can.
