Of all the players random clutchfans posters like to claim are better than Harden from time to time, this is/was one of the more laughable ones.

If Dermarr Derozen's max is gonna be $25,000,000 or so, as malakas indicates (and I'm thinking she's right), then, no, he's not really worth it (although he's very good). But he'll get it. So, more power to him, I guess.

You are worth whatever the market bares.

With the lack of superstar players in the league of course he will get max money

Who else can Toronto get to pay the max to (that wants to be there)?

Demar De Rozan = Rudy Gay.
Rudy Gay is not worth the max so DDR should not be neither.

DeRozan can probably get 60 points on 50 shots, and would probably be happy to take 50 shots if his team let him, so he's a ready-made Kobe replacement.

This is correct except DeRozan is better than Rudy Gay ever was.

If it happens like some of you (and SAS) say, his signing by the Lakers will be cause for celebration. He has all of Kobe's faults but without the tenacity, mental toughness and clutchness.

This is an interesting point but I would like to discuss the merits of it. If one team offers DeRozan the max, I don't think it establishes his "worth" as the max. Worth is still subjective. Unless of course you're implying that since he can and will take the max from the lakers, that he will accept nothing less than the max from anyone else..?

    Not so sure about that...

Career averages as of their age 26 seasons:

    Rudy Gay:
    18.0 ppg
    2.0 apg
    5.8 rpg
    1.4 spg
    .450 fg%
    .343 3p%

    DeMar DeRozan:
    18.1 ppg
    2.6 apg
    3.9 rpg
    0.9 spg
    .442 fg%
    .283 3p%

Have fun waiting six years for Wiggins to leave one of the best teams in the league.

Hell no a shooting guard that shoots .283 from 3...isn't part of the deal for being a shooting guard that you can actually shoot the ball.
