Yeah..I saw that too when it aired. Watched his shows many times. He's a Bull$#!t artist. Plants assistants in the crowds, uses camera tricks, uses help from assistants off camera, etc. There was one time when he comes out of a manhole, and begins talking to the camera (walks into a close up) the camera backs up and he reaches down and picks up the manhole (its now a piece of cloth) and walks off. We he first came up from the manhole, there was a noticeable scratch in the pavement behind the manhole. When he picked up the cloth manhole, the scratch was in front of the manhole. Basically when the camera went in for its close-up on Criss Angel, an assistant must have thrown the cloth down behind where the real manhole was located.
I like how someone figures out how he does one of his illusions and all of the sudden he's a FRAUD! I'm not a fan, but if anyone can do his tricks, then why don't they?
Okay, if you know how he does everything, tell me how he uprooted a tree with his hands and shoulders????
So your explanation is he is standing on plexiglass??? Do you even know how dangerous that would be as high up as he was??? Not to mention the fact that he is basically a blind man up their because of that bright light. Nobody would allow him to do such a crazy stunt!
I don't think it was plexiglass. I'm thinking that the helicopther that is shining that strobe light on him is also lifting him up with a very thin string or rope. The light is there as a distraction.
But if it was a helicopter how does he stay in 1 place and not move around? That would be impossible. I do agree that the light would help him blind the trick to the public, if he is doing a trick and not real levitation.
Mr. Brightside does. I don't like Criss Angel because his tricks and illusions are designed for a television audience. Anybody can use camera tricks, setups, and off-camera hired hands to do that stuff. I have more respect for a slight-of-hand magician who can perform live with no setup, no special props, and no camera tricks. But what I find most amazing is that people actually think that Criss Angel has supernatural powers. It's just tricks, people.
people who get mad at magicians for not being real magicians are probably still scarred for life that the whole WWE thing is fake.
I did not say this trick was not dangerous, he was still ON TOP of the Luxor hotel, which is incredibly gutsy. But he is on a plexiglass platform........you can see it...... Still a cool trick though, and I like his show.....watch it all the time. DD
Unless all of the spectators in this video are involved assistants, I find it very hard to explain how he did it. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Sb3zsC-2dv8"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Sb3zsC-2dv8" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
whenever ive seen the show, they seem to conveniently cut to a reaction shot of someone in the audience right when he does his trick but anways his show is entertaining
