To some, it means he's better than Harden and Curry.

Capela was owning NBA Twitters favorite big men Gobert and Embiid the last few weeks

Capela still has bonehead plays btw. Hopefully he's learning to stay business-like until the game is over and make smart plays. For instance, he should almost never ever dribble in the post, not ever.

Maybe in this one game, but during the season he's had several as I have seen them. Most notably, him dribbling in the post multiple times in a single game.

23-years-old, one of the most efficient and productive centers in the NBA on a per-minute basis, and he's recently fixed the biggest hole in his game. Yet there remain some posters who can do nothing but b**** about him.

Oh I think hes just fine, but he's still sloppy at times and makes mental errors. Hopefully that all improves over time.

If DMo had played half as well as Capela this board would be going nuts over it.

Very good point. And at the risk of "going there", D-Mo's biggest cheerleader and Clint's biggest detractor on the board is the same poster who went into self-imposed exile over a bet when Romney lost to Obama (then returned under a different moniker, hoping nobody would notice).

    I don't think that's a coincidence.

There was an article on Draymond's responses on how to defend some of the NBAs best scorers 2 years ago, he pretty much said Harden had two options of driving in or stepping back and he mentioned how to stop him. Now he's got another option of just flipping the ball up for a lob to CC.

it was obvious after the spurs series last year that he was getting the max or close to it, and yet again we see it. I believe the only reason we are not extending him right now, is to make sure he doesn't get injured, and the small possibility lebron might want to come next year. After those two possibilites are gone next year, he's getting big money. he's averageing 13.3 with 72 percent free throw percentage. i thought he'd average 18 a game, but paul is not playing right now. who here doesn't think hes getting close to the max? we have no chance without him. no, tyson chandler cannot replace him. how good would we be without him?

And none of the other players in the NBA ever make bonehead plays.

Are you sure Harden was not air balling and CC was like his auto-corrector or missile regathering system?

He tries to do that, when he doesn't have a chance to execute the P/R. If you don't experiment with new things, you're never going to get better. Better to do that in the early part of the regular season. The mistakes should go down with time.
