Have to hope New Orleans has a bad season, hope that Cousins becomes disgruntled and looks to demand a trade or walk in free agency.

You'd have to think, if New Orleans were to look to trade Cousins at the deadline, or S&T him in the off season, that Capela and a couple of 1st would be a damned good offer considering the very poor leverage that the Pelicans might have.

It all ultimately depends on were Cousins wants to be, hope Harden and Paul start their recruiting soon.

How many guys are uber talented but never became champions because they were touched in the head? I would agree if Cousins was pulling a Dwight or a Lebron and hard carrying his teams to the finals in the East or at least 2nd round in the West, but Sacramento has been a perennial lottery team with Cousins. Now he is on the Pelicans playing with another superstar and they still suck! So there is no proof that all that talent translates to wins. You want to trade Capela who is a proven commodity for Cousins who has no proof he can lead to wins?

Cousins, Chris Paul and Harden, ok thats 3 max contracts already you want just those 3 and a bunch of vet mins and rookies filling out the roster?

    Useless post, troll.

I really hope Morey's looking around. The question is who?

Everyone says DeMarcus. I'd love Gobert. Get it done Morey. I was hoping Memphis would start slow and send us Gasol.

Now if we accept anything from then, you bet it's a Trojan Horse. @DonKnock

Clint is improving his post game slowly, which is much needed. I liked his left hand post up against the Sixers. He is looking slow and lacks the lift which is so badly needed. The extra weight is needed, but it is hurting his athleticism. He looked quick and explosive against the Mavs and GS in his rookie year. His perimeter defense is missing. He is useful, but needs to get a lot better.

Do you get Boogie or hold off on a chance to possibly get Lebron?

I'm really interested to see the battle of the boards with Dwight and Clint.

Dwight is averaging 17.8 rebounds a night right now.

Last part, you sound like Morey to Bosh circa 2010.

First part, no one would trade Cousins for Clint. No one. We'd be stupid to decline that.

I don't think he's the best fit, but if that's offered you take it.

There's no battle. Dwight's far superior. Hopefully he picks up dumb fouls or we hack him and he loses confidence.

I'm looking forward to seeing what CP3 can do with CC. Let Harden go over to that corner and rest on O, and work a little harder on D.

I'd love to see Clint go 9-9 in the exact same game. :D

There has been a battle every other time they have played each other, and Clint has had some decent success.

    How so?

I dont think it's possible to land Gobert. They love him there, but certainly he would be nice here.
I think DeMarcus is just the most possible option to land a 3rd star. Contract year and Pels are awful as always.
Gasol is the best C in the league imo, i don't think we can get him.

Pels are awful because their coach is horrible and they have one of the worst benches and starters in the league (aside from DMC,AD,Holiday)
It's a guards and 3pt shooting league, the roster just doesn't fit.

    Great post @Deuce

Some people just don’t realize what they have until it’s gone.

Capela has improved each and every year and continues to improve. Some people can stop capping
his ceiling as of last season’s numbers.

His numbers at 24 mins (26 mins avg the last 4 games) per game are eye-popping. Just a matter of
further increase of endurance. He averaged 29 mins vs Spurs in the playoff series in 16/17. Not
every center can run up and down the court at a pace the Rockets will eventually ask their center to do.
