Or maybe this is because Daryl Morey is an amazing GM who can find diamonds like Aaron Brooks where everyone else didn't realize their potential, and Adelman is a great coach with a great offensive system? You don't know what you're talking about man. Well, I'm out, enjoy arguing with DD
Go watch the games, it's not about points or shots, look at the type of shots players get on him, look at backup point guards that take him off the dribble with ease or setup for a jump shot with no pressure against him. Against utah, deron williams could've scored on him the whole game like in the first quarter if he wanted to.
I put him on ignore, no use arguing with people who don't understand the general concepts of basketball and balance. I mean blaming Brooks when he gets picked at the high post by Boozer and David West etc. Just staggering stupidity run amok. DD
Hey we are doing hyperbole now, ok I can play this game. Dunno how many games you can win when the opponent shoots 100%.
Lowry should be starting. AB should be bench scoring. If we can't make this work, it is a perfect time to trade him this offseason.
Ok when your PG is getting a lot of minutes and scoring high and efficiently isn't the time to bench him. So we go from top scorer on the team to the bench... You're scoring too much! lol cmon now.
I just got a mental image of 5 Ryan Bowens running up and down the court with 7 more cheering them on from the bench. Greatest. Mental. Image. Ever.
Trugoy you're just flat out ignorant. Stop posting "scoring is the easiest thing to replace" and stuffs like that. The Rockets have been looking for a legit 3rd option with scoring abilities after the T-Mac trade so don't tell me it's easy to find a player of Brooks' caliber at such a low cost. You're making a fool out of yourself.
we lost Tmac, Yao and Artest this season yet are scoring more points per game this season compared to last. so go argue that, and also explain why we are not as good a team if we are scoring more.
This team has been trying since 2004 to find players who were above average athletically that could shoot the ball efficiently. We finally have two and we want to dump one? "Scoring" is easy to replace. Guys like Flip Murray are all over the NBA. Score points for you all day. What isn't easy to replace is efficient scoring. Efficiency has been the Rockets problem on offense for a decade now. Low efficiency, high volume shooters who stagnate the offense and force everyone to work incredibly hard to score the rock. I don't think people realize yet what kind of luxury it is to have two high efficiency guards like Martin and Brooks. When Yao comes back, people are going to be some happy with these two guys.
We score more because of the fast pace. Efficiency wise we're not really better than last year. We're not as good a team because we don't have Yao in the middle, why is that so hard to understand? We rolled with Yao/Brooks/Scola in last year's playoffs and finally got out of the 1st round, why wouldn't it work? No point arguing with a blind hater. Go **** yourself.
Of course I meant efficient scoring. Ryan Bowen could probably get 20 pts per game if he takes all the shots.
Great post, the thing is Lowry is not bad at scoring efficiency himself, and stats suggests that he is better at making others more efficient. We'll see how Landry progresses now that he has tyreke evans as a PG. And it's not so much about "dumping brooks" but whether he should be traded for Bosh/some other trade target if that opportunity arose.
