Seems you did some picking and choosing regarding the respective halls of shame.

More Adams (in no particular order):

George Amundson with a first round pick.
Losing to the Chiefs in the playoffs.
2 first round picks for Dave Casper.
John Matuszak with the overall first pick in the draft.
    Buddy Ryan vs. Kevin Gilbride.
Letting go of Steve Largent for nothing.

    More Adams dubious distinctions :
    - Record worst road losing streak in NFL history (before the Lions broke it).
    - David Williams "Babygate"
    - Bud Adams shooting off the middle finger several times to the Buffalo Bills while the NFL commissioner was at the game

The last 30 years, Bud's teams had a higher peaks but also had the WORST LOWS

McNair's teams have at least been consistently mediocre to average. He needs to hold people more accountable. But though it might FEEL like it has, he has not let the bottom fall off the franchise either. Bud managed to let that happen while making enemies in the process.

For ALL TIME ineptness award in Houston history, McNair might lead in the computer genarated poll, Adams leads in the people AP poll.

McNair isn't even ranked in any poll involving logic and common freaking sense.

Bob Mcnair on the AJ fight: "I award it to him on points."

He may be inept, but he knows how to stand behind his guys.
