The best one is when he goes back to the same chick twice and she busts him on it and threatens to report him for sending her kiddie p*rn. I'm at work so I can't click on this but that one had me rolling.

Don't compare this hack with the greatness that is Phil Hendrie. Phil is a freakin' genius. Too bad no radio station in Houston Chance has the guts to put him on.

Check the link in my sig for some samples.

Bloodninja needs to be retired. There can be only one.

I just went to Phil Hendrie's website. Some of the stuff I read is hilarious, I like the one about banning the Bush signs.

I've never heard of Hendrie. Is his whole show just a gag? Like The Onion on radio. I love stuff like this.

Too bad, I can't listen to any samples of his show without having to subscribe to a league pass. :(

Yeah, the whole show is a gag. He does all the "characters" himself. He uses a real phone, calls himself, and goes back and forth between the voice on the phone and his studio mic. He's got about 20 different characters that "call in" regularly. Each character has his/her own REALLY annoying idiosyncrasy. Then real callers get pissed off, call in, and argue with the "characters" having no idea that it's actually Phil doing the voice.

The whole show is just a parady of how cliched and boring real talk radio is. It all started during the first Gulf War when he was a talk show host. No one was calling in so he decided to call himself and do the voice of an Iraqi that was pissed off because he loved sadaam. Of course, the phone lines lit up with people wanting to argue with the character and a concept was born.

I wish a certain program director *cough*Chance*cough* would have put him on 650 instead of Howard Stern...
