Dumb question. If I grill chicken breasts on the weekend to use throughout the week... are they still good if I keep them in the fridge for the next 5-6 days? (i.e. if I grill chicken breasts on Sunday afternoon, will the last one still be good to eat on Friday afternoon for lunch?) Or do I need to store them in the fridge?

    Slightly off-topic, I suppose...

Hey man, one big mistake people make, and one you are making right now is talking about the fat content in your peanut butter. Fat is your friend, especially healthy fats like those in all natural peanut butter. Simple carbs, sugars, high fructrose corn syrup, things like that are you enemy.... Not fats. The most insane/crazy diets I've ever done (and I got below 6% bodyfat after 13 weeks) was called the Get shredded diet and it was very high in healthy fats. When you cut your carbs and up your fats, then your body trains itself to use FATS for fuel... so yep... you guess it, by doing this, you start burning your own fat for fuel once your body makes that adjustment. Here is an example of this diet (this is extreme, i'm not really recommending it for anyone w/out tons of willpower).

And like someone said earlier, you can eat stuff like subway, 100% whole wheat whatever, lunch meats and not be obese, but I doubt you'll be able to take your shirt off and have any sort of six pack whatsoever with this type of diet - and of course that isn't most people's goals so its not a problem. If you really want to be ripped (not sure of your goals, exactly?), you'll cut out the breads, the pastas, lunchmeat, all sugars (even most fruits), and of course sodas and just stick with lean protein, veggies, and healthy fats.

    Probably.

I do not workout for strength or body building purposes.

    Just for health and wellness.

    Damn, that stuff looks good.

The kind I buy (can't think of the name) has all the oil, or whatever it is, at the top and you have to constantly stir it up.

Mine does too (I buy the costco brand) and I just pour out the peanut oil when I first open it.

Peanut Oil is worthless, I like my PB to be very hearty and gritty.. not oily and fatty

I think you are confused a little bit too. Fats are not bad and not good either. It's just a different approach. High carb, low fat diet still exists.

    Hmm.

I buy organic, non-GMO soymilk from Costco.

Probably whole foods or some farmers market?

My post was "if" his goals are to get absolutely ripped w/ a six pack like bodybuilders do before a show. That's how they do it. Nobody would ever do a high carb low fat diet in that type of situation.

Alright. I thought he might want to stay healthy. Somebody who likes peanut butter is not a pro body builder. I could be wrong. :D
