I'm older than that guy above, I watched Moses Malone, I was in the Summit for game 6 with the Celtics, and what I know is winning teams are a cycle. You get successful, players cost too much to keep, then you suck and draft well ( Olajuwon and Sampson) and you rise back to the top. Rinse and repeat. But there is no drama without tragedy, no thrill of victory without the agony of defeat. That's the experience, that's life as we know it. Enjoy the ride, enjoy the passion.
When I saw Sengun go down I had to skip to late in the game to see if he came back. If Sengun is out the Rockets don't warrant watching.
Got up at ****ing 6am on a Sunday to watch us lose to the knicks. It’s been a hell of a season..and I can’t stop watching. There’s definitely something wrong with us
Haven’t watched any of it. Just doesn’t seem fun. Keep current on goings on but not going to invest my time until they figure out a way to make it make sense to invest my time. Doesn’t mean it has to be a winner. But it needs a plan and decent execution of said plan.
There's so much newness to the organization everywhere from Front office to players to coaching staff to announcers that it almost feels like an expansion team. Combine that with the fact I'm 1500 miles away and the Rockets are never on national TV I haven't seen a game yet.
at one point I left a friend's wedding early to watch a playoff game. at this point I'll watch tv with my wife until she goes to sleep and if they're still playing I'll catch whatever is left, but only to watch green and sengun. I don't really care how anyone else does or if the team wins.
Every Game. This is the first year I bought league pass. I wanna see the rise of Jalen Green. Diehard.
lol no When the team was handed over to Tilman it secured the best record in the league. Today, it is the worst team in the league. The clown destroyed this team in a spectacular fashion.
I was at the after-christening get-together for the first kid of my friend - who I was in the bridal party for at their wedding. It was Game 6 in the infamous WCF showdown with the Warriors. And I was the most anti-social person there. Fast forward to today. I'd choose having my teeth pulled over watching any Sengun-less minute of Rockets basketball. How quickly empires fall.
