Nice! Wish I had one of those..... Gotta wait till I get a house though. Maybe we can kick it on Friday night. I'll need a beer after this week!
Hell yeah im so tired, I didnt realize how much a hour less of sleep could affect you at work. Everyone I ask if the time change has affected them, they look at my like im crazy and lazy.
Hell, I am. Not only did I lose 1 hr to daylight savings, I lost another cuz I am working in Atlanta this week. Combine that with having to wake up at 6:30 every morning (usually 7:30), and trying to kick it with old college friends at night....
I must be the only person on earth that likes daylight savings time. I like being able to do things outside after dinner, like work in my veggie garden, while there is still sunlight. Call me a freak!
RMT, you are a freak! So am I. Us freaks have a duty to keep the world from becoming a giant strip center filled with tired zombies, too tired to care how screwed up things have become. Or something like that.
Ever since the time change (a whole 3 days) I've been going to bed at 4 or 5 am as apposed to 1 or 2 am bedtime before... God do I miss those few hours! But I'm not tired at that time anymore! I don't know WTF is up with me...
I like Daylight Savings Time because it doesn't get light so darn early in the morning. Mornings are for sleeping. Everybody should learn this. I'm going to be tired tonight because I still have to plan a computer modeling lab for tomorrow, grade a test, and make out two class lectures. (It's only 1:40, but I have annoying little obligations sprinkled throughout the day.) I spent too much of the last few days on something that I started another thread about.
You guys are pathetic. Try travelling across time zones every week and going to bed at different hours every night. 1 hour spring forward is nothing.
I had sleeping problems when I drank coffee in the afternoon. If you do, try decaf. Actually, I quit coffee altogether and haven't looked back. I drink water like a mug.
like Isabel, i like DST. the benefit of more daylight at night means sports can be played later in the day and the benefit of more darkness in the morning means if i end up staying up until 6 am now the sun is still down and everything is nice and dark like i like it. as far as my sleep being affected, i stay up until 4 or 5 am every day and with a 2pm class on MWF and a 9:30 am class on TTH, the time i wake up every day varies by over 4 hours anyway so an hour here or there does nothing to me. now i am ridiculously tired right now, but that's because i didn't go to sleep until 5:30 after finishing a hw (which makes the sleep seem even less effective once you get it) and woke up 3 hours later. i usually try to avoid naps so i can go to sleep at night but i might have to crash at some point today for an hour or so.
Ha!! As soon as my lunch break rolled around, I put my head back and fell asleep. 25 minute power nap!!!
