It really is just our offense for the most part. I wish Kubes had the balls to just bench Matt going forward, but I'm not optimistic. We obviously have to shake things up as this ain't working.

This team is better than I thought it would be (minus Schaub, duh).

    RT/O-line -- way better than I'd thought they'd be.
Arian Foster -- way better than I thought he'd be.
    Tate -- healthy.
FB -- we have a real one, finally.
Hopkins -- way more NFL-ready than I imagined.
    Graham -- he's stepped up.
    D-line -- Crick is solid.
LB -- Sharpton and Dobbins are as healthy as they've been before (lul) and Mays will improve.
DB -- Reed is pure trash I hope he gets cut, Swearinger has been unimpressive but the D as a whole is doing it's job so no worries.

Every aspect of this team has played above my expectations with the exception of Schaub. This is a sad perfect storm of pain.

This is why, despite watching all of their games like the Houston sports junkie I am, I simply can't ever get onboard the Texans bandwagon. McNair just doesn't seem to mind losing very much, and it's led to years and years of mediocrity and underachievement with nothing but more of the same on the horizon.

Texans fans, I know that feel, bro. But I can't feel it with you. Have a drink, take a hit, and get some sleep.

We lose to Seattle and San San Francisco.

The Colts beat San Francisco and Seattle.

    Our window is closed.

    Enter Andrew Luck.

Until we get a better QB, I agree with you.

    Important note from the article.
Ed Reed is trash. Please cut him, please. Keo is better. KEO. KEO!

At this point I'm too tired to even get mad. Is there really anything left to say? Schaub has basically regressed to a state where he can no longer be an effective QB. He's developed a fear of the pass rush. He can no longer read defenses well. He is incapable of being a drop-back passer now that teams no longer fear the running game. All his weaknesses now are showing and his strengths no longer matter given the circumstances.

And there's not going to be a change either. Kubiak will keep his job. Schaub may or may not be kept, but watch the Texans trade for a Kurt Cousins type rather than truly getting an elite skilled QB in the 1st round. And the mediocrity train will move on.

Yeah, I've more or less accepted that myself. I'm just gonna enjoy the ride. At least when we self destruct we do it in spectacular fashion.

Ive never been embarrassed to post on a Houston forum. I always thought you guys had something to you. But today, I'm beyond disgusted.

I thought the dirty south stood for something.

I am absolutely ashamed with all the fans who continue to shed light on their homosexual tendencies - getting caught with their pants around their ankles with their anuses being repeatedly ****ed by Susan and her strap on Gary. Week after week they persevere, enjoying the pain and lulling each other into a false sense of comfort as the cream drips down to their..

Now there's nothing wrong with homosexuality. But there is something wrong with being ****ed over. Over, and over, and over again.

It's a telling sign of mental weakness.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt and thought you guys were smart enough to pick up on this last year, in his 7th year of turkey flopping. But now I get it. Guys like me, jj, Andre...

We're all alone up here. And you spineless patsies are perfectly fine with that.

Let's be honest, except for a couple of years with Foster, the Texans have been a decade long battle fighting disappointment. This isn't on Kubiak. This isn't on Schaub. They are nothing more than the symptoms. Bob McNair is the cause. He's too timid, too loyal, and too easily satisfied. Otherwise, Kubiak would have been fired years ago.

My god.. some of the posts on the forum baffle me - not because I'm offended by this post (I'm not), but because these types of posts seem to be accepted and okay, but a moderator gave me an infraction and took away my ability to rep over a silly rated PG joke I made that he claimed was "inappropriate" when there's constant NSFW content on here..

Ive been saying for years that its on mcnair.

Mcnair is the guy that chose the conservative route in capers. No creativity. That was run run pass punt or as many of us knew it R2P2

Next choice is more of that 'play not to lose' mentality in picking a dumbass like kubiak. I swear is it just me or does kubes strike you as the kind of guy that is just straight dumb?I mean 'couldnt pour piss out of boot if the instructions were on the heel' kinda dumb. Im surprised the guy can put on his own pants. Easy move is to keep kubiak. That's classic mcnair get you to come to his sell outs and then sell you out.

Mcnair is good at raising parking prices when tax payers pay for the parking lot.

Mcnair looks for 'signability' when looking at number 1 picks. Dont take my word for it:

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/fQI4VYb6iGM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

That was 2006 folks. It's 2013 and more of the same conservative what I deem 'non winning' mentality. It's been there from day 1 with mcnair.

Mcnair needs to go give bob lanier so more of that cut and sell the team. Mcnair needs to be happy he fleeced us of about 700 million and go be conservative somewhere else.

Next thing is we need to get rid of the horrendous texans name.

    So here's how it goes.
Step 1)Sell team to ownership that wants to win and willing to sign players not because of' signability' owners without loser mentality.
Step 2) Pay Bud Adams off to sell back Oilers name
Step 3) Promote wade phllips to HC ,fire Kubiak,
    Step 4) release schaub
    Step 5) Start Keenum

That's a lot of steps and none of them will happen.

It's the ownership 1st. Mcnair is not about winning. its obvious.

I have to admit 1st time you have been funny. I appreciate on some levels your persistence to come back to this board. Rosetta Stone is paying off and you are getting better at english. I actually agree with you iRonny that Schwab is no bueno. good call. doesnt mean you won a single euro or ruble or whatever, but I still give props for calling schaub out early for what he is.

McNair isn't going to change his ways. Old rich guys can be very stubborn, but he is pushing 80 and not even billionaires can buy more time. We'll have a new owner by next decade, but it's probably not too wise to care too much about the team until McNair is gone, because winning a championship doesn't really seem to be a very high priority to him.
