Its karma, they got away with a bunch of bad calls last year. The Rockets did not cry and whine (I will never forget that blatant out of bounds that they missed with Finley, and all that crap about Yao setting illegal screens). This year they are involved in a few pivotal calls that dont go their way and Mark Cuban is screaming conspiracy. The Conspiracy was that the Mavs that the Mavs suck, oops its not a conspiracy anymore. I wonder what they will be whining about next year.. lol
The only thing that bums me out is that I didn't get to see the look on Mark Cubans face when he knew it was over. I would imagine it was something like this >>
I'm not bummed anymore... This year, I was torn between my severe hatred for Dallas (which stems from my youth as I was a 49er fan) and my pointed hatred for Riley and Shaq. Upon reflection, I decided that Shaq showed a lot of class in '95 when Dream was schooling him and I am happy for him, Zo, and Flash getting rings. I would like to have seen Payton forced to retire without one, but you can't have everything!
knowing that they lost is one of the best feelings I felt about basketball in years....almost a good as us winning but not quite. Seeing their fans faces....seeing Cuban's face......I didn't even need to have sex last night because I was fulfilled. lol Nice job Mavs!
I was at Game 7 last year of the Rockets Mavs series. As you know, it totally sucked. Its hard to talk smak when your down 20, but i did, giving them nonstop hell for never winning a title and never even getting to the finals at all. After they won the first 2, i was a little worried. Watching the Heat take the next four and the incessant crying from Cuban and Mavs in general was just awesome! Some of my buddies and others say "dude, Dallas is a Texas team, you gotta root for them." WHATEVER. Dallas is our division rival, a team thats beat us twice in the playoffs, and im supposed to turn around and root for them just because theyre from Texas? F- That! I rooted for them vs. the Spurs, cuz i hate the Spurs even more, but I love that the Mavs blew it, it made my freakin month! WAR RODNEY CARNEY or BRANDON ROY! GO ASTROS!
