Never thought I'd see Tiger give up a lead with such little fight. Just hasn't had it since coming back from surgery, but the good news is he's picking up steam. Congrats to Yang.

yeah, it's not like he's won two tournaments in a row and led the final major of the year for over 75% of it.

Yeah, it's not like I didn't say picking up steam.

And this is Tiger we're talking about, you have to hold him to higher standards.

I hate when announcers talk about the upcoming "explosions" in certain cultures because of one successful person.

Where are all of the African American golfers tearing things up? I certainly haven't heard of any, even in college or junior leagues.

    Thank you,

This was annoying me all afternoon. I know they were saying first "Asian Born" player, but give me a break...

Wow, Harrington self-destructed... all the way down to T10th. LOL. 2 weeks in a row now with total meltdowns.

Congrats to P.F. Cha-- err, Y.E. Yang. That eagle he hit was the shot of the day. I've never seen someone paired with Tiger on the last day of a major championship look so calm and collected. I was admittedly rooting for Tiger, but Yang definitely deserved the trophy. Go nuts, S. Korea!

I don't understand why people root for Woods. Since when do we root for the best? And why would you root for him? Because he is the best? What are you some bandwagoner? Or do you just have a massive man-crush on the guy? That in general is my whole thing against individual sports. How can you justify rooting for someone?

Then why don't people hate him? Why is he not the big bad machine that needs to be taken down? Is it because America collectively wants to have his baby?

Same reason so many rooted for Michael Jordan. People like being in the presence of greatness, they go to every game expecting to see something that puts them in awe and are rarely disappointed. Tiger's competitive instinct, clutch shot making ability and ability to dig himself out of tough situations appeals to both the hardcore and not so hardcore fans.

A lot of people do. But why should you hate him just because he's the best?
