the problem with this is that no sports reporter/analysis is gonna come out and say anyting negative about this cause they are all obsessed with Lebron. get this on jim rome or somethin cause if any other player in the nba did this (except kobe) then espn would make a big deal about it
I don't mind lebron doing it. If it was kobe, I'd be mad. Messed up on my part? Oh wells. ***** Kobe! Go Lebron! Lebron is the face of the NBA. However, Kobe at the moment is still the best player in the NBA. Next year, Lebron is taking that thrown!
Damn the NBA is so God damn soft now. This fgt lebron literally danced like a woman trying to get picked up at a club all night long. Did you ever see Jordan dance on the sidelines all game long? Im sure all the great ex players are just shaking their heads at where the NBA is going. Lebron acting like a woman, david stern saying there will be women playing in the NBA in 10 years. What happened to the competitive serious nature of the sport? its ridiculous
As the Youtube video says, the dance came from Danny Green who gained some notoriety for doing it before all his home games to get the crowd up. Even back then some colleges took exception to it, and in Noah and Green you've got two of the past three NCAA champions. I don't know if there's anything to it though.
No, but I did see Dennis Rodman, despite being a beast on the court, dress like a woman. Not to say that LeBron should be allowed to dance on the sidelines constantly when other bench players are supposed to be fined for even standing up to watch the game...
Just a question: why the hell was he put back in the game during the last minutes during a blowout, against Chicago's scrubs?
I don't think they meant it maliciously or as showboating. This team is renowned for having a good time, from all their pre-game dances to their videos (I made a new thread about the recent 80's intro video). But I think there should be a sense of decorum and it's a bit much. I like how people usually slam Noah around here but suddenly like him trash talking when it's against Lebron.
I'm a LeBron hater, I'll admit it... How about that time he was over-laughing at Donyell Marshall for checking into a game without his jersey... I mean... it was sooooo funny, he had to hold his teammates back.
I think the problem with this whole thing is that Lebron says stuff like.. "we're just having fun out there during the game". But you're up 20.. not like something gamechanging happened and you're just gloating on someone else's loss when you dance like that. Besides, who here has seen lebron dancing when his team is down 20 and a big play is made by the Cavs? I don't think you can legitimately argue that the dancing and the winning aren't intrinsically related. I don't mind pregame dancing, or after a huge dunk etc, but the other stuff was a bit over the line. Good to see Noah being a man.
I agree w/ the OP that it was a big deal. Save the dance moves for pre-game or halftime or after the game. No need to disrespect the opposing team by doing that on the sidelines DURING the game. Imagine if Noah was the one doing it on the sidelines during a Bull rout of the cavs, I bet LBJ would take it real well.

in the end of the game its professionalism, and then this guy literally can not own up to anything...his handshake last year, he justified it bc he is not a loser...now his interview for the dance, says hes just having fun...its about being respectful to your self, and to your opponents, and you know he would be more serious if it was a closer game, so its directly connected to a blow out type of game you know if other teams were acting like clowns while another team is struggling and getting embarrassed..this is a professional league where your paid millions of dollars, its not street ball with his homiez, this guy needs to grow up, sadly he won't ever learn bc they are scared to correct this guy to any real effect...these are sportsmanship parts that have been in the game since it started...since it started, this guy comes in gets handed the face of the game(regardless if ha has ever won anything yet, different story) and then acts like a clown and they just let him do it bc they don't want to take down his popularity bc he generates money...He nba, lebron travels more than any other player, he gets called for a crab dribble, its been a travel since the beginning of the league, he complains aobut it, this year, its legalized.... wow get of his sack
Let me ask all you morons this: 1) Is dancing on the sidelines a display of bad sportsmanship? Drumroll please... THE ANSWER IS HELL NO. Seriously, your hate of all superstars that are not on the Rockets is seriously getting you guys to make embarrassments of yourselves. Now, if LeBron was visibly taunting Noah, then there would be some controversy and some legitimate discussion. But no, you harp on him for dancing...
If its Ronnie Turiaf doing that stuff, everyone thinks he's a great guy. With LeBron, they are "antics".
Spot on. Honestly I'm sick of hearing about people complaining about every thing LeBron or Kevin Garnett does.
Too many haters on this forum. I guarantee you if Lebron was playing for the Rockets and still doing the same "antics" then almost everyone would be saying stuff like "he is just having fun out there" or "our team has such great chemistry" My god, quit hating and just enjoy the game of basketball.
