It's not espn that's bad, just a few of their reporters/analysts. I actually like Brussard, I know he gets some things wrong but he doesn't ever hate on Houston. I like listening to legler, Stein is solid, Ford is good with info but doesn't know a thing about basketball, Hollingers power rankings drive me insane, Bucher is the worst. Just something about him makes me wanna punch his stupid face, it's not even the fact that his "sources" are ALWAYS wrong. But that doesn't help...

ESPN in general is completely useless if you want actual sports news. I refuse to even watch ESPN unless there is a game on there I want to see. Otherwise, I can get my sports news from actual sources, such as Yahoo!

 

Skippy has wet dreams about tebow ... I can barley listen to that guy as is,but the second he starts in about tebow I switch the station.

 

Funny he was always a bandwagon Rox fan...I believe he picked a Hou v heat finals in 97 or something like that maybe it was 96' could be wrong on that one analyst which was strange bc I had made a bet with my friends that year for a non Jordan finals-with it actually being the rockets (bc of dream Barkley, Drexler) vs the heat which were on a late season ROLL that year and owned the NYK, and had a kind of above avg defender for MJ, alas I don't even think the heat made it to the bulls I forget how it ended, alas it was bulls jazz as worell cough cough predicted a year too early, when in fact his own HOUDTON Rockets won and swept the Magic in 95'-ol' blues Bill was asked the question late in the season, as MJ had just recently put up 52-so for all the haters out there -always tell a hater MJ balled that "half season"-he was balling so hard he pulled out his ol number 23 and banned shoes (greatest bball shoe ever maybe)-anyways I regress to,the old days when BIG MEN dominated the paint...maybe I will wake up Monday to another great big man that my hate will go from that to love-what number do you want Dwight!

Agree completely with this. If Dwight signs with Orlando long term tomorrow, the offseason was a disaster. Bucher is right - we lost two really good PGs including our starter, our starting Center AND PF, and appear to be letting our starting SG leave as well. When all is said and done, we lost 2/3 of our team including all the best talent we had. We are the losers right now and forever unless Dwight ends up here.

Bucher doesn't hate the Rockets - he is telling the truth.

...and I said this in a different thread - Bucher was covering the Rockets and appeared to be on the Rocket bandwagon during the Yao/Tmac era when everyone else didn't think we were a legit contender.
