Good effort. But until someone can top a 60 point trip dub, my eyebrows won't be raised.

The national media has been openly lusting over Davis for 4 years now, even when his teams failed to break .500. Seasons that would result in Harden getting crucified are openly viewed as "not his fault"

Now that he is actually leading his team to some success, and putting up massive numbers, I expect him to get more consideration than he realistically should.

This isn't going to be the year Davis gets it, but he will eventually, health permitting. Just a great player, I don't see anyone beating Harden. He's got it locked up, in my opinion, unless the sun implodes and the sky falls, or something like that.

It's odd he hasn't been on the MVP radar, since leading that team to the 3-6th seed would be damn impressive and definitely top 3 worthy considering his numbers!!

You know the media is going to spin this.

    - Kyrie is the MVP because Boston was so good early on, and they lost Hayward, so they had no right to be that good. MVP gone because Boston has regressed to the mean.
    - Giannis is the MVP because he made a seemingly superhuman leap from last year to this year, averaging ridiculous numbers while MIL's record was okay. MVP gone because MIL sucks.
    - LeBron is the MVP because despite Kyrie leaving and a complete roster overhaul, he's had to do everything by himself. MVP gone because Cleveland sucks.
    - AD might be the MVP because despite Cousins getting a season-ending injury, AD is taking his team to new heights, and is on the cusp of making the playoffs. MVP will be gone soon because NO is going to regress like Boston.
    - Westbrook might be the MVP because he's close to averaging another triple double, while trying to integrate PG and Melo into the offense. MVP will be gone because OKC sucks.

    - Harden is the MVP. But no one talks about it. His team is too deep, so their success isn't all due to him. He's part of MDA's system (of course he'll do well). YADDA YADDA YADDA.

There's absolutely no talk about the MVP unless they can bring up a worthy "opponent" to Harden. AD is just going to be another flavor of the month.

    No, he is not.

There is a line, not his turn yet. Maybe next year.

He's going to waste his career in NO. Its really a pity at this point.

I would take AD>Lebron for this team.

    Harden
    CP3
    Davis

All time great team and would be even money against Warriors.

Nah, Anderson yes. Cp3 brings so much more to this team intangibles and what not. It'd be a hard pass but id have to disagree as to team needs. Now in another two or more years. Yes most definitely.

No, James Harden is the MVP right now, and it's not close.
