    I'm less interested in finding out if he is indeed the worst, more concerned that he is just a BAD defender with either little interest in playing D or has bad instincts.

    AB us a SG in a small PG body...if he was 6'5" he would be the second coming of Kobe lol

    He's a heck of a scorer but limited because of his size but I wouldn't say he plays good D at all and not a consistent distributor of the ball for a solid PG.

    Steve Nash is the single worst defensive player in the NBA and Fisher ain't much better

    Im not saying he wont improve but as long as he's with Houston he'll be playing behind Ariza! I think he's a lil overhyped anyway!

    Yes, but his offense is IMMENSE.

    Nash is a terrible defensive presence, but on the other side of the court, he is a monster.

    Same with Brooks.

    The single worst defensive player in the NBA generates MVP talks though.

    Says something about defense.

    First, I don't know if that's true. 2nd, With Nash, the team's gain on offense is way bigger than the loss on defense.

    That can't be said about AB.

    does anyone see anything different this year from brooks than last year on defense?

    I actually think he has improved his offense this year, but defense is still as bad as ever.

    My problem is Brooks is not even trying to stop anyone, and on offense he refuses to get thE ball to Kevin martin.

    I don't think it's lack of effort, he is just physically and mentally not capable of playing good defense.
