I understand your point master bushi, but they are a sovereign nation with an elected president. They have the right to do anything they want with the energy they produce.
Everyone is playing the great game. Everyone is playing with fire. .. as long as oil and gas from the Persian Gulf area remain essential to World economy and easy way of life... When all the military and environmental costs are included, fossil fuel is hardly cheap. Solar engergy is the safest, cheapest long term solution.
Probably not. As Iran y just saw with Iraq, we attacked because we were pretty sure that they did not have nukes. Iran is probably concluding with good reason that nukes will keep the US and Israel from attacking them.
When the price of oil goes into unchartered, or ungraphed territory; more then 1.2 billion people are going to be pissed.
The treaty had a built in clause allowing the original nuclear powers (US, France, UK, China and Russia) could keep their weapons as long as they work towards disarmament (which I'll agree that the US hasn't really done this lately). As for Israel, you're right they're violating the treaty. And India and Pakistan aren't signatories to the NPT.
Well, thank's..............I really need to finish my samurai lessons Back to your point. If you believe they have the right to make nuclear weapons, I believe the U.S. and it allies have the right to persuade them not to. As a matter of fact, I'm against any other country on earth obtaining them. Hell, why don’t we give every nation on earth nuclear weapons, we can divide them up equally.
I have a better idea! Let's get rid of them all and no one have them! What a lovely world it would be!
You know what those things can do? Suck the paint off your house and give your family a permanent orange afro.
well..you gotta start somewhere... Oh really? Can you email Jr and let him know that? Someone needs too. If we...no, not we...if this administration can make the decision to attack a country without provocation. Iran certainly has the right to do whatever it takes to protect itself.
