    I watched it back around 82 with some friends because it was supposed to be this great film. I walked away thinking that I had lost a couple of hours of my life I would never get back.

    Not enough entertainmnet value for me by a long shot so to answer your question.... No it is not a perfect film. Hell not even close.

    I'm more of a Full Metal Jacket/The Killing/Shining Kubrick kind of guy.... Heck 2001 Space Odyssey is even a better film than CO...

    Read the book. It's a quick read, and the russific-cockney synthesized language Burgess engineers for the dialogue is enough to chew on by itself.

    I enjoyed the guy that kept on ending his sentence with "yes?"

    Other wise I was more shocked at the movie than anything. It's too "deep" and convoluted for my taste. It did a lot to intentionally push the line and to force a reaction.

    Great movie nonetheless but nowhere near perfect.
