Me and my friends were having a debate about whose more important to the warriors and i said Curry and they all said Durant. Sometimes the best player isn’t the most important. Curry opens up the floors and breaks defenses down for other players to get open shots.
Look out of KD, Klay and Curry KD is the most guardable, just stick PJ on him and let him do his magic. Klay is just lights out when left open and Curry is unguardable since he has range from like half court, the key is to stick PJ 1on1 and KD will try to "get his" at the cost of shooting his team out of the game.
While Durant is unstoppable, he slows down their offense and I think Warriors are more dangerous when he isn't mainly handling/scoring. Not always, but usually. Let Durant go off.... keep Curry/Klay cool and I like our chances better, always.
Disagree or not, Klay ain't playing his best, Steph is more often injured. Having Durant is the only option when the Splash bros are not consistent. Will get to your detailed writing later. ISO play is always not fluid but you dun hear complaints about Harden Iso-ing. Not as much.
What other guys said, the Warriors best weapons are off ball movement, passing from the post, moving screens etc, Durant makes all of this more difficult for them, if by letting him play his game you limit Curry and Thompson, that's ok.

but thats always been the game plan right? let durant have his and lets try to limit the other players. we limit curry by attacking his defense constantly which will always be our greatest and probably only advantage offensively as a team. i wonder how would curry feel especially with a tweaked ankle if harden, cp3 and rivers will try to attack him every possession. let us see if he gets hot on offense if hes so busy defending or hiding.
Agreed 1000000x. Warriors have more raw talent, but they aren’t as scary as they used to be before Durant got there. Lebron was incredibly fortunate that Stephanie was hurt.
Durant can score from anywhere on the court, which makes him impossible to scheme against. Unfortunately, you cannot say the same thing for Harden.
Dude they have 2 mvp superstars and 2 other all stars and another finals mvp. You can’t focus on Durant or everyone else will hurt you. Whereas Harden is the focal point of our offense and teams are drastically changing and inventing new defensive schemes to limit Harden and our offense , while Refs continue to be bias. If you saw the past 2 GSW games, Durant was getting all kinds of fouls that Harden doesn’t get in the playoffs.
