I'd love to see both play TCU. Can't wait for the Rose bowl if everything remains as it is right now.
Florida doesn't have a win over anyone good at all. Their only semi-reasonable wins are Georgia (at home, in overtime) and South Florida (middling Big East team). Their other 5 wins include a 1-AA team, a MAC team, and the 3 SEC bottomdwellers. If you look deeper, Georgia is actually quite terrible as well. They are 5-6 with wins over ULaLa, Idaho State, and the same 3 SEC bottom-dwellers. South Florida is not much better, with 3 of its 6 wins coming against Stony Brook (!), Florida Atlantic, and Western Kentucky. West Virginia has a better resume, but again, has lost its only game against a ranked team. It plays in a terrible conference and has no out-of-conference wins of note. All of these teams (Florida, South Florida, Georgia, West Virginia) have lost all their games against ranked teams. Playing a lot of ranked teams and losing to all of them does not make you good. All these teams are mediocre at best. None of them have a win over anyone as good as TCU & Boise's wins over Oregon State (pre-Rodgers injury) or Boise's win over VaTech.
And yet, despite that loss, VaTech is on a 10 game winning streak, is ranked, and has beaten ranked teams. Something that none of those teams have done.
I'm still in Tuscaloosa and just wanted to give a shout out to all the Auburn fans on this board.....Only 12 more national championships until you catch up to us. Roll Tide
