Iraq Withdrawal: McCain or McFlopper Extraordinaire

Well, you do live in Texas.

 

To take the troops essentially out of Iraq by 2010 would likely require a level of immediate troop reduction that would be very dangerous to those who remain.

Most plans seem to target 2013. Do not be fooled into thinking that there is not a good reason for that.

 

The next presidential term ends in January 2013. Don't discount the politcal aspects of this. McCain is flipflopping and kicking the can down the road to the next presidential term.

 

Which of course appears to be the same thing that Hillary and Obama are doing. What a shock.

The problem is that in order to have a militarily sounds withdrawal of the troops, it will take years rather than months.

 

I'm just curious...are there ANY Republicans on this board?

It just seems like everytime John McCain says something he is labeled a flip-flopper, but Obama says something and he is "Changing the world!!!!"
