I understand the need for coping mechanisms, and no, I am not, have not, and will never be a soldier of war, but the behavior of the men in the video still disturbs me.

the article was like, it's okay the soldiers thinks its a video game

isn't that the main problem.. that they think killing a life whether civilian, a child, or really an enemy combatant they get 1000 bonus points per kill regardless?

Also the fact that you couldn't even "Accomplish" the end of the saying oozes irony.

Prove me wrong that Al-Queda was not present among the Iraq people.

The fact that Killing men Holding cameras and driving minivans w/ kids inside accomplished a mission.

Admit that what they did was a mistake and stop defending Murder sense your subconscious is obviously trying to "accomplish" the mission of reminding you what decency and respect for human rights are.

It's been done many many times. Are you new to the board?

Perhaps you will believe the United States Pentagon.

Did the Apache see kids before or after the damage was done??
The troops did not bring the kids into the War zone. What about the insurgents with AK's and the lone ranger with the RPG aiming at the Apache???

I am supportive of the soldiers in this thread, as has been evidenced several times in my posts.

However, Al-Quada only came to Iraq because we invaded.

Did the Apache take say 1 minute to even assess the "threat" before Yelling, "Come on, Let us shoot!"?

They made a mistake and claiming Fog of War is just irresponsible with the advances of Military technology.

    This is not 1944

They only thing I saw them assess was how many rounds they should fire and from which direction. They seem to have a little trouble hitting "targets" at first.

So what does Al Qaeda's presence/nonpresence in 2002 have to do with this video?

You don't have to support the war to justify the actions that those soldiers took.

I'm past that subject, I could post online articles as well stating al-queda presence, but that will open a bigger can of worms.

No but that is a response to middleman. If someone like middleman says something factually inaccurate, I think it's reasonable to address that.
