Haha...then why don't you tell me exactly what he does behind the scenes with sources to back it up. You sound just like the talk radio host Micheal Savage who says that the anti-war protests are funded by North Korea and Iraq, but you could never tell because of how they fix the books.

Im already crossing the line to some extent. I wish I could. I dont want to be found missing next week, so I will keep details to myself. Believe what you want to believe. There is nothing I can say or do to change your mind. What do you expect me to give you, published articles on how the Bush family is going after oil?

Yeah pretty much...I'm sick of people just making claims with no reasoning behind them. I hear it all the time up here at UT. I love it....I'm walking down the Drag (Guadalupe, a street which runs right along campus) and I see something in chalk on the sidewalk that says "The war in Iraq is a racist war" after the anti-war protests on MLK day. I am like....huh? Sorry it just gets old. Bush is not personally after oil....it makes no sense. Its just another conspiracy thing that people love to cook up because it sounds good and they want to believe it.

SHHHHH...there are bugs implanted in your left shoe. Don't look down whatever you do. Your head will fall off instantaneously. I hope we dont blow your cover but I was thinking, what do you think about writing a screenplay for Invisible Mind II?

    Over and out.

    Okay. So its settled.

NJRocket and Robbie are brilliant, all-knowing minds. You obviously believe everything you read in the papers.

huh? what are you talking about? all i asked for was some proof and not just some baseless statement. i am saying it just doesn't make much sense for bush to lead a personal war against iraq. i guess blair and the australian PM are in on his oil money too.

If that kind of proof was readily available, then Bush would not be in power right now. Think about it.

ahaha....good reasoning. i guess with that kind of logic you can make baseless claims against anyone in power.

Oh. My. God. I'm hardly an economist... but surely even a remote underestanding of economics is sufficient to know the ignorance of this statement.

It's not like it really matters that much where we get our oil. It's the price of it that's the most important part. And the affect that price has on consumption and the rest of the economy. Hypothetically, if not one milliliter of Iraqi oil was used in the US, then, if the supply was discontinued entirely, then the price would still rise because other countries would shift their consumption to the same reserves we access.

Besides that obvious fact, if there's a successful invasion and a new government, there shall be all sorts of business opportunities available in the new "democratic" regime.

I don't think it's *all* about the oil, but that statement was prima facie absurd.

haha...yes the next time you are recording a secret conversation you had with bush, blair, and their cronies over how to steal oil from iraq. i'm pretty sure bush is in it just for the oil...thats why many democrats are supporting the possible war too.
