    yeah you are.

and you got it. if you want to dismiss the articles i posted than i cant help you, but what i provided is far, far more than what you have provided for any of your claims. why the double standard?

since when did you become the ultimate authority on what passes for information and whether or not it passes the "smell test"? i must not have gotten that memo.

I told you I'd pay for you ticket once you fullfilled your end of the bargain and said all your stuff to my face on camera. You also claimed to have an uncle here you could visit.

If I am going to go down to Houston for a Rockets game, it won't be for a nosebleed seat. You have to at least make it worth my while. I can buy a $40 ticket on my own, that's no incentive.

I offer you up to $400, and you respond with $40? Give me a break.

Buy I'm not asking you to appear in my smear film, thus comparing offers is comparing apples and oranges. If you really want me to come to New York you will come.

Isnt there a live clock in Times Square? New Yorker, why dont you whip out the video recorder, go to Times Square, and have that as your evidence that you are currently in New York?

If you do that, then Otto knows you arent BSing and it will be his turn to fulfill his end of the bargain.

If you dont do that, then you have given no reason for Otto to take you up on your offer.

I will allow you to film me. Now, you have a place to stay in nyc on houston st (your uncle) and a few things you want to do here. seems like you'd be happy to come. and now i will let you film me.

I don't plan to smear you - you have a terrible paranoid and distorted view of me, and your words reflect something very strange. I honestly am surprised you have allowed me to get so deep into your head.

I actually don't think you're such a bad person...I do think you've gotten me completely misread, and if you actually met me, you'd either be too closed-minded to change your view and just be flustered, and find a way to keep your view the same, or, if open minded, we'd have a beer and laugh. I was going to make something funny - making fun of you yes, but also myself. It would have been funny but not in a nasty way. Ya know, making you look really bad on camera isn't my goal, it was just about having fun and doing some silly stuff for laughs. Making a smear film of you would have only made me look evil....and i see this stuff as all harmless jousting.

So, if you want to come up, and do this, well....I think the fun is now gone, but I'm not one to back out. I'm not going to pre-pay your ticket, because I don't trust you either. And nor should you trust me. That's why you take a trip to nyc to visit your uncle and do your things here, and then you get paid when we meet up. And if you don't trust me, well, you didn't lose anything. But I won't back out.

I do think that you need to judge people less on here, and realize that many of your claims about me being a liar and such is your own creation - i've allowed you and others to follow your own doubts and prejudices. All the accusations of my "lies" have always started with suggestions from a poster that I just allowed them to run with.

But anyway, the offer is there. But I'm not going to fly to Houston in order to get you to fly to NYC - it's too obvious that you're just finding a graceful way to back out. Ok, so you thought you would call my bluff but now you are realizing I am not bluffing. Noooo - I'm for real. But I suspect that even if I did everything you demanded, you'd still find a way to back out. It's ok, being brave isn't something I ever thought you were.

If you are unwilling to spend $400 to deliver a message to me, why should I? If you yourself won't even do what you demand that I do, that doesn't sound like a reasonable request.

I told you that if you payed for me to come visit you, I would do so. My position hasn't changed. If you will pay for the visit, I'll see you at your earliest convienience. Otherwise, sorry. If you want me to appear in some film, that is a seperate discussion.

This has been my position from the beginning. I told you straight up that I wouldn't pay for someone's flight to come visit me. If it makes you happy to portray it as though I am backing out, that's fine. Just based on the responses in this thread, it seems that most people are able to see through you.

The fact is that I do have a track record for being willing to show up to resolve disputes. If you have a problem with me, and expect me to shell out money to help you deal with it, I am not willing to pay out of pocket so you can feel happy. I am willing to give you my time and go way out of my way to satisfy you. I think that is well beyond where my obligation ends.

I'll pay you for your flight once you fulfill your obligation to say what you wrote in this thread to my face. That was my offer that you apparently had accepted, but it seems to me that you are backing out of now.

That's fine. I'm not going to pay you until you say it to my face. That's the whole point. I don't have a problem with you, I just have a problem with people being cowards - writing trash about me from their computer when they don't have the guts to say it to someone's face. That's all. You don't have the guts. I know you don't.

You complained about me not sending an email, ripped me apart for it, but did you stand up and be a man an apologize when you realized it was your account? Nope. You did not.

It's clear to me that you judge first, ask questions later, and never admit to mistakes. You sir, no absolutely nothing about me, and you have no track record - the truth is you're the phony pretending to be such a great wise sage when in reality you're just a coward.

    Crikey this is stupid..

New Yorker these little games of your's are really juvenile and Otto you're getting suckered but to end this howabout this for a solution. Otto goes up to NYC on his own dime and meets New Yorker. In return New Yorker appears on camera with Otto. This way New Yorker drops his ridiculous, "well I'm paying you to come up here and I dictate the terms." and Otto puts up on his own dime to go through the trouble of exposing New Yorker.

    Is that fair?

Why do I feel even worse than looking at the Princess Diana wreck photos?

Why do I feel like this will end with a misinterpreted wide stance?

Wow, not only are you tough, but original too! The only other person on this board to make that reference is TJ. Man, you are comedy gold.

Let me know if you're ever west of Denver. We'll grab a beer and have a conversation. I rarely have the chance to be around really tough guys, so I'd like to meet you.

There's a movie adaptation in the making involving Jake Gyllenhal and Ben Afleck.

There's absolutely no game being played here other than the game everyone plays and that's living life.

Anyway, that's fine with me...not sure how I can be exposed?

In any case, if Otto is going on his own dime, then I have no issues naturally. I'm willing to do a quid pro quo on the filming in that case.

    $255 according to Otto

You know, maybe you guys could all come up with the Rockets are in town against the Knicks or the Nets, and we could get a skybox or something.

To be clear I will not be interviewed by your interviewer. I'll let you know when I have the funding.

I think we need to create a new thread under the Hangout section. This is much too entertaining to be under D&D.

No chance. If I have to go to the Hang Out to read the recurring train wrecks that are the life of fatty, you can drag your ass in here to see NewYorker's slow motion flame out.
