It is all the same. Hilary is just as hawkish as any Republican candidates. Politics in this country is now controlled by the lobby groups. Nothing will change until we take money out of politics. Recently I read an interview of Jimmy Carter by the Nation magazine. He mentioned that back in the days, there was no lobby groups. He was basically running the whole campaign with his family only. He said that gave him a lot of freedom when he was the President.
lott is retiring so he can become a lobbyist - he is doing this b/c the loophole allowing former congressmen to become lobbyists is about to close.
