Who knew that a 53-year-old Beach Boys' song would eventually become the political death rattle of the Baby Boomers?
The world goes on for the regular everyday Americans whose only concerns are who is going to advance in American Idol tonight & if we'll be able to afford going to Destin or just a trip to Galveston this Summer. For much of the world though, this actually will make a huge difference. This means one thing in the end... the Trump Admin & Bibi/Isreal are pushing for regime change in Iran. That's it at the end of the day. How did that work out in Iraq with Saddam? Back in 2001, did we think our lives would change if Bush took measures to support regime change in Iraq? Probably not, and most people were all in for it. And this isn't Iraq we are talking about. This war will potentially be at the doorsteps of Israel. If Saddam wanted to hit back at the US, they really couldn't do so from his position. Iran is poised to really hit Israel hard if they want to. If you are a right wing Israel super supporter, I just don't understand why you'd be championing war in the holy land, but that's just me. Maybe nothing changes for average everyday Americans. But we've been down this road before, and there were consequences. Trump ran on not doing exactly what Bush did, and he's walking down the exact same path, but with higher stakes. I just don't understand with us just living this just a few years ago & still living it with troops still at war in the region, why you and others would be so cavalier about this.
Trump HAD NOTHING to with ISIS defeat. LOL. The plan was in place and was being executed. Trump is being PLAYED on NK.
You are clueless. Read the news, kid. Preferably not from msnbc or bossip. Trump changed the game with ISIS and got the job done.
That's amazing. We are just now recovering from the thousands of deaths from net neutrality and tax cuts.
Funny guy. Come back to this in 3 years, and lets see what happens with Iran and regime change. Just like you should take your 2016 cable/internet bill and in 2022 compare it to your new bill, and see what the US debt situation looks like in 4 years since apparently we are poised for enough growth for the tax cuts to "pay for themselves". Net Neutrality & the Tax bill have long lasting effects. However I think most people would agree that they know exactly what Regime Change in Iran means, and in this case I don't see how anyone can say with a straight face that yes... people will die in that case one way or another as history has always proven.
I remember a few months ago the same said posters in here were in full melt-down when Trump was fully antagonizing North Korea, predicting a nuclear war was inevitable. You don't have to like Trump. You don't have to think his antics are wise. But you obsessive anti-Trumpers are consistently wrong about almost everything. So far: Trump didn't let Russia take over America, as predicted. The stock market didn't crash and burn. Trump didn't go into full dictator mode. Trump hasn't launched any nuclear weapons. NK and SK are on the road to the best talks since the Korean War. Never mind the trivial nonsense like Melania's wardrobe and many other things. We could probably pepper in a few other things, but the point is many of you are unreasonably pessimistic.
Lot of generalize points and strawman that have nothing to do with the Iran nuke deal and the US withdrawal from it.
Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you’re a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right — who would have thought?), but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us.
