Every time this idiot makes a decision, he has to announce that he's made it and then wait a period of time before announcing his decision in dramatic fashion just like a reality TV show, it's so bizarre. More importantly, though, is how utterly stupid it would be to scrap this deal while being knee-deep in the North Korea BS. "Hey, I've got an idea, Rocketman keeps pushing the boundaries with his nuclear weapons program and forcing our hand, let's let Iran off the leash while we're at it too!"

We're just going to have to continue to deal with the fact that we have completely moronic, childish leadership in this country right now and hope that it doesn't end up doing too much damage in the long run. Backing out of agreements left and right, declaring to the world that the US is more important than everyone else, being Russia's b****, etc. It's seriously hard to even watch Obama's speeches as a private citizen now knowing how far we've fallen leadership-wise in only the span of a year.

Exactly. The N. Korean nuclear program accelerated after a change in the U.S. policy. Clinton actually made an agreement with the N. Korean dictator that both sides weren't intent on destroying one another. When Bush took over he changed that policy and no other president has reached out to re-engage that policy. There is obviously more to it than that. But N, Korea won't abandon their nuclear program and get rid of their weapons. They feel like Saddam did that and Libya did that and they saw what happened to them. They feel like nuclear weapons are the best insurance they can get. They know that starting a confrontation will be the end of them, but they are willing to do that anyway if they feel like they don't have a chance.

They clearly see the stick, we have to present the carrot a little more clearly with slightly different goals.

An excellent description of Mr. trump. About the only country of consequence that he hasn't threatened in one form or another is Putin's Russia. The child has no conception of foreign policy, no clue that words actually matter, and no regard for the enormous burden he is placing on the American military by continually making threats to sovereign nations. Putin has to be rubbing his hands with glee, interrupted by the occasional dance around his office.

This will run counter to the "crazy man" narrative, but they are right to want nukes. Nukes ARE the only thing that will ensure the survival of their regime. Right now their standard artillery being pointed at South Korea preserves them, imagine nukes pointing all over Asia.

It is right that Kim Jung Un and the dictatorship regime want to have nukes. There is literally nothing crazy about that. They gain more power, can blackmail.

However, them having nukes is a detriment to the rest of the world and we would be crazy to let them acquire nukes.

When I say 'them' I'm speaking about a handful of people and I hope thats what you mean when you say 'they'. Them having nukes is a detriment to the N. Korean people, who live a slaves life. It is not right for the N. Korean civilians for the N. Korea dictators to have nukes.

NK already have nukes, and so do many other states that once were (and maybe still are) a "detriment to the rest of the world".

Given your childish avatar, I assume you are quite young and naive which is also validated with post like the one I am replying to. You obviously have a lot to learn so I forgive your utter naivety about Iran and "44".

And then they fail to save it. That's the fire they are playing with. All because they have to satisfy the emotion of an unstable person and his political promise based on junk. Put the nation interest at risk for the interest of Trump.

Starting to sense a repeat of the Bush 2 admin dealing with NK.

Trump prepares to wound Iran deal — and then save it

You do realize what everybody thinks of you right? I'm only insulting you because of the irony of your insult.

Also Trump is a ****ing idiot. Just being on a sole mission to undue the "evil black man" work (which his base loves) he is risking having another country proceed with enrichment. Because fat boy thinks they didn't get a good enough deal he is risking that. With the scenario he is pushing they will enrich to weapons capability.

Everyone should have nukes. I mean, we're all equal in our ability to act like human beings and not animals. If I had a nuke I would probably sell it some dude down the street from me for like ten bucks, if he haggled maybe I would take 9 but i wouldn't take less than 8.

I wonder how Netanyahoo got all those binders and discs from Iran on its nuke program that he was bragging about earlier today? Hmm.

If I didn't know any better, then I would say Netanyahoo wants a war and doesn't seem to realize Israel is going to get hit hard if there is one.

Boom. Yet another Obama foreign policy failure. North Korea, Iran, Syria, Arab/Middle East refugee crisis - Obama was completely clueless and dangerously incompetent and naive. ...and the funny part is, his supporters are trying to lecture Trump on foreign policy! True hypocrites.
