Nope, and Google Maps for iOS doesn't really count in my opinion. HOWEVER, when I had an iPhone, there's a great app for navigation called GPS-DRIVE X
thats one of the things i dont get with apple there. that feature has to be added soon. it should have been added a long time ago. not sure whats up with that
Seriously, so u can ask the iphone if you need an umbrella, but it can read off the directions listed on the screen so you're not looking down while you drive.
haha. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/aTg00wIijNY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> If somewhere down the line the jailbreak community comes up with a GlaDOS voice pack for Siri that would be awesome.
I'm due for an upgrade but I'm not too sold on the 4S. My gf's mom said if I gave her my upgrade she will pay for the 4S and give me her old iPhone 4 because her upgrade isn't til March. I currently have a 3GS. Is this a good deal?
you're basically getting an iPhone 4 for free so yeah I would say that is a pretty decent deal. And if you wanted to upgrade then your gf's mom can return the same favor when her contract expires.
I thought you can trade in your iphone 4 16gb for 200 dollar credit towards an iphone 4s? At least that's what i read on Engadget.
Maybe its if you bought it within a certain timeframe of the 4S coming out. I'll have to look that up.
anybody know if within the notifications on the lock screen of iOS 5 you can get rid of notifications? i know you can slide across the screen to go to the text/app from the screen, but lets say you get score updates sent to your phone, you get the notification, see the score, you might not need to open the app itself. i mean will find out soon enough, but i havent seen any videos or articles talking about it. just curious
The only way I've seen to get rid of them is unlocking the phone, if you don't unlock it they just go into a queue that you can scroll through.
