Go into cydia. Click on Manage. Click on sources. Click on edit. Click on add. Type http://cydia.hackulo.us and click add. It should install installous where you can do your thing!
nice! thanks EDIT: im finding a lot of the apps are hosted on filedude.com but when i click to go to the download out of installous the download file link isnt showing up. any idea what might be causing that? just mean the file is no longer hosted or something?
When you click on download through filedude, does the page it brings you to say Go Premium or just download normally? It should bring you to that page. Click on just download normally and it takes you to a page to enter some words than the link pops up to download. Some files are hosted on mediafire. I like that over the others, because it downloads right away.
another question, whenever i charge my ipod, and i go back to my main screen all the games i installed are no longer there and i have to go install them from the downloads section again. is there a way around that?
Itunes is deleting them. You need to go to Cydia and install the Hackulo.us AppSync for whatever version of IOS you have.
Ok, someone told me about this site last night. I am a tech idiot, so forgive these simple questions. Does using this site void my warranty? If the phone turns into a brick can I still take it to Apple for repair? Is this program easy to remove? Also, does filing up the memory on your phone make it run slow? I have around 1G free and it's been running slower. I figured this was why.*
what type of iphone do you have and also what OS version if you have version 4.0.1 or lower you can use the site yeah using the site will void the warranty if you take it into the apple store and ask for something and they see it jailbroken. if something hardware was does go wrong you can always restore off of your old backup and "de-jailbreak" your phone so it can be fixed up. filling up the space shouldnt make it too slow i've used up a lot of space on my iphone 4 and then deleted it but never saw a issue when it came to performance. you may have a lot of apps open and not know about it that will hurt your phone's performance.
Thanks! Funny, it takes you to a page to dowload it, then saves it to the program, then you have to click it to install it. Right? Or is there an easier way? Also, Installous is telling me that I have an update to an App that I got from the Apple store. However, the App store tells me all Apps are up to date. Should I download the update? Will that screw anything up?
If your up to date dont' worry about it. I sometimes get those even though the Itunes store ones are up to date.
Ok. I'm having issues with this. When I connect to sync music it deletes the apps. I went to Cydia to download Hackulo, but it said it was already installed. I didn't see it so I installed it again. I still didn't see it anywhere (does it run in the background)? I tried to disable apps syncing in Itunes, but when I did that it deleted the normal apps from my iphone (the ones I had prior to jailbreaking). What now? What am I messing up?
I have the same phone and mine seems to be working a little better since the upgrade to 4.0. Then again, I've only had it for a few weeks and I don't have much to compare to. I have a kind of off topic question for someone...the computer that was my base for the itunes homesharing crapped out recently. The HD was wiped out. Is there any way to remove that computer and change one of the others to be the main one?
I found the answer in a forum. When you plug it in and it starts to sync, stop it. Then go to File, Transfer Purchases. Then sync.
