A minor inconvenience and exercise in patience isn't the story here.

The main story is the Democrats having four years to prepare for something (after a much maligned 2016 go of it) and basically ******** their pants in front God and all creation. This is a black eye for the reputation of the party, and it inevitably rolls downhill to the candidates and every person with (D) next to their name. The memes tell the story. "Let us run your healthcare, they said! LoLz!" Even though the government and the parties are two entirely different organizations, in the eyes of the country, they are much the same. The side story is how bad this is for whomever actually won Iowa. They were robbed of 2+ years of hard work. An Iowa win can change a whole race (see 2008) and now that deserved momentum and attention is gone forever.

From Bernie anger to not letting collusion go for two years to this. The DNC is tone deaf

That being said, its not surprising that a political app to track numbers is closely related to political campaigns. There is no large scale market for these tools. All the entities involved from developers to users are in politics

They wasted two years on collusion. My point since my return to Clutchfans. This won't be the only issue they are behind on

Nah. The Democratic party has far more fleshed out ideas on healthcare policy and mitigating tax avoidance from the top .1% even if you disagree with their ideas.

The only hope the GOP has of keeping Trump in office is sowing divide in Dems.

That won't happen this year. Dems will back Bernie if he wins the nom.

Im speaking more along structural issues like developing potential candidates and this situation.

On developing candidates, Democrats should be applauded for letting the process play out. However, having to divide debates into two nights because of so many candidates is going to wear on potential voters to the point of causing disinterest

You really believe the 'pubs are the ones sowing discord?

The Democrats will back Bernie like the Republicans back Trump. And that is only to their self interest.

At least the GOP didn't lie about why they voted for Trump. They didn't want Hillary. I expect the same from the Dems that know if they don't vote Bernie Trump will get another 4 years. the only Dems that will "Never Bernie" are all elites and we outnumber them greatly.

they will if it’s Bernie. But if not, like it was in 2016, there will be deflection. How much? Polling suggest the same significant level as in 2016 - 10 to 15%. So, no, facts tell us that the Dem aren’t simply going to back up a non-Bernie nominee like the republicans did with trump. This is well known so I’m surprise you didn’t know this. And of course it is smart for the republican to sow discord as that’s a known and real weakness of the Dem.

Look, I'll back Sanders for sure if he's the nominee. I'd have backed Marianne Williamson if she were the nominee (anyone but Gabbard, who, btw, I hope Bernie doesn't pick as his VP if it comes to that). But this is going to come down to five or six states. I fear socialism won't play much in those states, but I hope I'm wrong, because the Republican Senate will today acquit a President and anoint a King, Or, rather, a despot.

That’s not the issue on hand.

Iowa is an insignificant flyover state whose entire purpose to be the first on the primary calendar is to serve as an early barometer for voters in other states and to also provide media boost for the winner. That’s it.

Nobody would care about Iowa’s technical issues and incompetence in counting up some measly 200,000 votes if it was just another state going up in March or April. Iowa could then take 3 days or 30 days and no one would bat an eye. Iowa’s national delegate count is so low it could be chalked up to margin of error and still not be a factor on the national scale.

Iowa has one job and it failed spectacularly.

The Democrats want to increase turnout but they also want to win back independent voters. You're not going to win back independents after complaining about collusion and voting integrity then lead off your primary with this mess

You're grasping at straws. No-one is going to give a **** about Iowa in a month.

The biggest issue for Dems and independents is the mentally decomposing boy king on the Whitehouse. You literally just have to run ads with Trump making a fool of the country and it should energize the public.

Sounds like how can Hilary loseg to this reality star arrogance

Let me ask you on supposed Trump anger. One example, do you think people still care about kids at the border?

Hillary was a flawed candidate so...I voted Bernie for the primary in 2016.

    Isn't this what Hillary did?

So far the "orange man bad" strategy seems to be a failure.

Everybody knows he's an incompetent, fat, lying, hypocrite. You're not going to energize the people who sat out in 2016 with that old news.
