I do this all the time only with some grilled chicked thrown in. BBQ Chicked Tacos, now that's good stuff.
Your welcome and may I say that stuffed french loaf sounds mighty tasty too. One note regarding the ingredients is that I never measure and tend to mix things by feel so you may want to experiment a little to find the right mixture to your taste. Start off with small amounts and then start adding until it suits your palate. Just wanted to add that keeping a few really good seasonings and condiments around always come in handy and do a lot to liven up bland food. Things like good peanut butter, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, honey, dijon mustard, extra-virgin olive oil, sea salt, cayenne pepper, salsa and jalepenos are great for a lot of things. If you have access to an Asian grocery store good soy sauce, sesame oil (get the brown pure kind that's the most flexible), rice vinegar, wasabi powder, black bean sauce, oyster sauce, Sriracha chili sauce, hoisin sauce are great too and can be used quickly for punching up even non-Asian dishes.
TBar's Breakfast Stuffed French bread sounds like a better tasting Hotpocket. You should market that with different stuffings.
Okay, for that "nacho" dip I made...here's what I put in...just random amounts of everything: First, I put a can of Cream of Chicken into a pan, and started cooking it on the stove. Next, I added some chopped onions and bacon ranch dressing. After that got to cooking for a bit, I added some jalepenos (with a little bit of juice). After about 5 minutes of simmering that, I added some taco sauce. I let it simmer for about 10 more minutes, stirring every now and then, and it was the greatest thing ever. Let me know how you like it, if you decide to try it.
There's a lady at my church who sprinkles chocolate chips into her pancake batter. As if that isn't sweet enough, her kids not only douse it in syrup but they cover it in butter as well. Talk about fattening/disgusting.
bread with a slice of cheese squashed by hand into a stick. put in the toaster oven and let brown. kids love em.
I made it again, except without onions. Still tastes excellent. Easy to make, too. Takes no more than 5 minutes. I also just discovered that it tastes absolutely delicious on top of some roast beef on a sandwich. MMMMMM. I made my step-dad try it on the sandwich, and he loved it. I made my brother and step-sister try it regular; they both loved it.
