Ok guys, first thing first... I have not seen Collier and Cato play all that much. Frankly, neither have any of you guys. They've spent more time on DL than being on the court as Rockets.

Having Kevin Willis is nice, he can chip in a good solid 10-20 minutes I bet, but we need a 3rd center that can start. We need a starting center that won't make the other team laugh (so no Pig Miller).

I too hope that Collier and Cato have great years, but the Rockets can't afford to be left with Taylor and KT to man the center spot if they want to compete.

I personally think Jahidi White would be a great addition, but I have no idea what the Wiz wants for him. If Wiz wants the Wiz, then I'm all for the trade.

He gets my vote too. We would also get someone to backup mooch as the sharp dresser on the team :)

I'm not sure Willis is being shopped. Remember DEN gave up Keon Clark for him. KW would be a great fit as 3rd C as a gap filler for a couple of years...exposing Cato to his work ethic and attitude would be a REALLY good thing! If we could get him for Wiz and change great...I doubt it however.

Jahidi for Wiz has a much higher probability of happening and meets OP's criteria of giving RT another type of capability in the post.

There are others possibilities and it just depends on what CD can pull off. I think the board has done a pretty good job of identifying 5 possibilities, we can add KW to the list...

    Jahidi White
    Chris Mihm
    Rony Seikly (sp)
    Jelani McCoy
    Marc Jackson
    Keon Clark
    Dean Garrett
    Olden Polenyce
    Jason Williams
    Pig Miller
    Kevin Willis

Probably missed one or two and I didn't include any of the no names that have been posted. Any way there are a lot of options, some good and some ugly. Hopefully, CD can pull off a nice deal that brings us a good one.

    OP,

With the job clearly his (for now), Cato may be able to break-out and have a decent year. Although, I'd be happy if he just avgs 8-9 rebs and 2-2.5 blocks a game...any points are a bonus. If Collier surprises, that would be sweet...nice insight on his determination and work ethic. We may be alright with those two and another foul grabber, but not many of us fans feel comfortable w/that combo yet. Of course, that could be why...we're just fans.
