He's saying all the right things. Hopefully all the emotions are behind him and he can go back to playing good ball.
Props for Brooks being a man and owning up to his mistakes. From experience I can say that that is hard to do sometimes. He gets my respect. Hopefully he turns it around.
AB never fails to impress me, every time I try and write him off he does something that makes me love him again. Let's see how he responds basketball-wise tonight
I hope everything works out. He doesn't smile and doesn't seem nearly as happy as the past few seasons.
Maybe this is what AB needs to get focused on b-ball again. And maybe this helps the team gel a bit. I don't know what the locker room has been like, but it doesn't seem like there's as much cohesiveness in the locker room this year as in years past. Certainly AB's body language hasn't been very good.
Aaron's a good guy and a much better basketball player than what he's shown these past couple months. I hope he can turn it around. We'll need him if we want to make the playoffs.
His shots still aren't falling. Kudos for his remorse. But he still has to produce to earn his job. He needs to work his tail off, hustling on defense, making shots on offense, playing within the flow, every minute he's put on the floor.
that was just like he plays...selfish and all about him. he is so preoccupied with his contractual situation that he continues to play poorly...they should have suspended him for two games
we clearly were not watching the same interview.. when asked about the contract situation: "you know that's not what we're on right now, we're just playing good basketball, and we just want to make the playoffs... gotta help out the team, play hard, have a different mindset on the court" quit creating reasons to hate him. brooks is a rocket through and through, he was genuinely sorry and he sincerely wants to better his play on the court.
