Yeah...I've only seen about 6 or 7 episodes...I can't watch that show continuously...it's too depressing. But I will tune in when someone particularly crazy is on.
No. Its kind of like a reality based C.S.I. It is about homicide divisions trying to solve murder within the first 48 hours. They usually do Miami PD and Memphis PD, because they are the most interesting (Miami has some messed up homicides). The detectives themselves are quite interesting to follow. I don't know if this makes any sense, but is, by far, the best produced show on TV. Each episode follows two murders and they cut back and forth between both to keep you in suspense. The music is good and the narrator is awesome. They are going to have a marathon on Thursday. Watch 2 episodes and you'll be hooked.
I agree it's a very good show. You could also compare it to a real life Law & Order. It's especially interesting to see how they really deal w/ interviewing witnesses and people in the interrogation room. You realize these investigators don't have time for any breaks in this time period.
The interrogations are my favorite, especially if the investigator is good. Dallas PD is good (i think his name was Eddie Ibarra). He just "wills" confessions out of people. Plus, its always funny watching murderers try to lie their way out of their guilt and the excuses they come up with.
Me and the wife watched the entire first season but I just couldn't stand it anymore, too depressing for me so I had to stop watching. Found it intriguing in terms of looking at the effects of addiction.
