I thought it was a reference to James Street and Soviet General Georgi Zhukov. (I wish I hadn't skipped my medication this morning).
I think moes just unwhittingly answered the question as to why it is cool to hate the Eagles. I never had any desire to hate them until it seemed like a good idea to get kicked out of a cab for hating them.
