    That's probably why she turned out to be this way. Her parents were probably WAY TOO STRICT and she kinda became rebellious in a way. I know plenty of asian parents that were too strict on their daughters in high school and then when they went to college BOOM they just break right out of their shell and go nuts.

    Well I definitely knew girls in high school that kept tally like this.. but not one of them was stupid enough to write it down...and I went to Catholic school... wait.. maybe all they were all like that because I was at Catholic school

    All I can say is that if you add your parents on facebook, you're either the most boring, straight-edge person on Earth, You somehow have the .0001% of parents that are cool... or you're really ****ing stupid.

    true story, my mom had an account before I did and let me use her password from across the country to see what my own friends were up to.

    i finally gave in and am thankful to know what's going on in her world since I don't talk to her every day.

    i would never edit a thought of mine on behalf of my mom. she's a little clueless sometimes on my cultural reference but it doesn't hinder my facebook style.

    i guess she's in the .0001% mentioned.

    facebook. it's what people revolve their lives around. it's fascinating to me because as regular message board posters/forum members, we have our little Internet world that we belong to, with our little Internet rituals.

    the minute we bring that world to facebook, and our friends from 4th grade or Aunt Suzie either don't get the joke or are just clueless, it crosses some weird personal line...
