Check the web site. They have different speed tiers with different prices.

    No.

You get a box in every room. Every box has a cat-5 high-speed jack on the back, and you can access the main DVR from every box, as well as lots of Free On Demand stuff, and each box is HD-capable.

I *think* it is $5 for each box over 3, or maybe 4. Not totally sure. You get a few free, I know that. I use 5, so I know I am paying a little extra, not sure what the exact number is, but it isn't much.

Thats my only complaint about U-Verse too. With all those channels I'm sure they could work something out. Other than that I love U-Verse.

Anybody lives in the City Vista apts on West Dallas close to downtown?

Just thought I would bring this back up. I wanted to save a few bucks, so I called to "cancel", or really just downgrade a bit and the guy practically begged me to stay, and cut my bill down $60.00 a month while not losing a single channel. I don't know why/how he did this, but Comcast would NEVER do something to actually make a customer happy. I was paying $165.00 for everything, which ended up at $189.00 after taxes. Now I'm down to $105.00 for U400 + internet and HD which was the exact same package I had.

    +1 for U-Verse!

I also called XM to cancel, as I do every sixth months and they're offering a 6 month deal at $2.99 a month, as is Sirius.

    Eff Comcast!!!

I switched to Uverse in May and my only complaint is my internet goes out for about 30 seconds a few times a day but with Comcast my internet was out 75% of the time and my cable was either completely out or giving me a really crappy picture about half the time.

Like a moron I canceled Comcast BEFORE I demanded a credit from them so I ended up getting $12 credit back on my final bill.

Hmm... I just recently ordered U-Verse (was not available in my area) and I'm paying about that price for U200 + HD + Internet.

I might have to call to "cancel".

I don't love Comcast or anything, but they actually did give me a pretty sweet deal recently.

My 12-month new customer discount (cable and internet for $59.99) was up and I went on their site looking for some deals. There were a couple of promotional deals that I ended up asking about, and in the end, the guy basically just ended up extending my new customer discount for another 6 months instead (same length as the promotions I was looking at, but lower price).

In the end, I saved $30 a month just by calling them up. I'd say they made a customer happy that day.

for those who think Uverse video quality is better than Comcast, have your eyes checked.

I'm a uverse subscriber currently but i used to be with comcast and i know the difference. the only thing that's keeping me from going comcast is everytime i try to cancel my uverse they bombard me with freebies. just recently they gave me a 10dollar discount for 6months and free HBO and on topof that another 50 dollar credit that i can use toward ordering ppv or pay my monthly bill.

for now savings is my priority so I'm staying with uverse.

oh, when i signed up for uverse they gave me 200 dolalr - CASH.

customer service is superb with uverse as well.

but again, when it comes to video quality, comcast is the best.

i don't care about number of channels available cuz i only have time for Rockets games.

So if money is object to you, get comcast. a warning though, customer service sucks. and their contractor sometimes doesn't show up on sked.
