03/02 Brasil v Ireland 03/03 espn posted a few games i'm interested in. ivory coast v South Korea Turkey v Honduras Germany v Argentina Italy v Cameroon US V Netherlands England v Egypt France v Spain Portugal v China New Zealand v Mexico thoughts predictions? brasil 3-1 ireland
Germany beats Argentina, Korea beats Ivory Coast, Spain wins, Portugal wins. Italy wins. Others I am not too sure.
Like always, I'd like to disagree with you, sir. I believe it will be like so: Brasil 2 v Ireland 2 (Ireland takes their anger out on the samba boys) ivory coast 3 v South Korea 1 (ivory coast takes their anger out on the Koreans) Turkey 2 v Honduras 2 ( Pavón continues his onslaught ) Germany 3 v Argentina 1 (Defensive game until the end) Italy 3 v Cameroon 2 (not a defensive game at all) US 0 V Netherlands 2 (the Yanks will not have the same magic from last June) England 1 v Egypt 3 (a shocker expected) France 1 v Spain 3 (it's an "El Niño" season again) Portugal 3 v China 0 (Portugal takes it "easy" on the Chinese) New Zealand 2 v Mexico 2 (some Euros back like Marquez won't help Mexico much)
03/03 ivory coast v South Korea (2-1) Turkey v Honduras (2-2) Germany v Argentina (3-2) Italy v Cameroon (3-1) France v Spain (2-3) top games to watch would be germany v argentina and france v spain
Only soccer fans would know what "Friendlies" means. It is a secret code for us. Gonna be fun to watch the USA vs Netherlands today. This roster should be closer to what we will have at the WC, minus Davies, Gooch and Dempsey of course. DD
I hope France will not win another single game this year. I would be very satisfied if France does a repeat of the 2002 World Cup and fail to net a single goal. France 0 - 3 Spain Xavi, Torres, Villa scores.
What's the story behind France and Mexico? I would rather Mexico win vs France, unless Henry has a hand in it (get it get it? I'm so smart). Kinda off topic: anyone know why Torres kept getting subbed out early in the second half of the Euro's while Villa usually gets all 90? Torres = MerGady of soccer in terms of injuries?
Friendlies are matches that are not significant in any tournament, kind of like preseason or spring training. They are just exhibition. And it's not gay, it's Soccer!
I hate Mexico more than France Espana has too much talent. Torres goes full speed but sometimes runs out of gas? Hard to say but he's the best Striker on that team.
