Yes, but we are talking about developing someone with high upside over someone reaching the ceiling. I agree the trade set the team back a bit, but I think Morey considers long term. We will most likely make playoff no matter what, but no where near contending anyway, so it was ok to trade off pieces that will become more expensive and develop players with higher upside since we will be signing/trading PF this offseason anyway.
