    Here's a thought, (just a suggestion/opinion)

I do agree that the harsh criticism towards Tmac is mostly unjustified. However, Yao was a Rocket from the start of his NBA career. Fans were able to witness the growth of Yao's production year by year so they tend to be more lenient on his deficiencies.

Tmac on the other hand was traded for when he was one of the greatest players in the NBA. Therefore, there is always comparisions made by the fans between the Orlando Tmac and Houston Tmac. Tmac himself made it worse when he said "it's on me" by placing all the responsibilities on his shoulders.

Technically, both of these players and Ron Artest should be at their prime or not far from their prime stage in their careers. Therefore, there shouldn't be too much of a lopsided criticism. The whole *** and *** needs to stop because they have shown again and again that they play better when both of them are on the court.

for those who always bash tmac for his "minor" injuries, i hope you never get to experience those same injuries. let's see if you can even go through an hour of workout without complaining.

also, the guy is practically 6'10" (players mention that tmac is definitely taller than his listed height of 6'8" or 6'9"). that's PF size. and he's playing PG/SG/SF!

how about you ask carl landry to play from the wing and slash to the basket for at least 60games a season and get back to him after only 3 seasons? where would he be or any other 6'9" and above player be then? carl was playing on the post for half a season and he gets a knee surgery already. when did mcgrady get his first knee surgery? what about his back? he's got scoliosis for crying out loud. it's amazing he can even play professional basketball.

if there's one gripe i have about tmac, it's his salary. he should get about 5m less since he's out about 10-15games a year. use that 5m for artest's extension.
