yes, he did great at the line (11-12) but he makes Rafer look like a great shooter. That is the problem! That and the turnovers of course. He has a lot of work to do but if you want to crown him....crown him

Ok, this is where my point is getting misread.

I have NEVER said V-Span was the answer, I have been saying since it is clear that Rafer is NOT the answer, the team should have spent SOME time developing V-Span to find out if he is going to be a rotation player.

V-Span could bust, but at least find out, because as Morey goes into this offseason V-Span is still an unknown, which is inexcusable, he could have been getting backup PG minuts all year......SHOULD have been getting them....

And that way the team would have a clear indicator of their needs at PG...right now all they know is Rafer is not the answer.

    That is my point...nothing more.

I felt the same way about Rafer but wanted CD to get a different PG for this season, until we can trust Span more

Hmm, I must now admit that I misunderstood you. Here I was under the mistaken impression that you fervently hated JVG because of his abject failure to tap into the vast basketball potential of one Vassilis Spanoulis. I could have sworn that you held JVG personally responsible because his bonehead, stubborn, incompetent, idiotic, inept, (feel free to insert the adjective of your choice) refusal to play Spanoulis thereby fatally doomed the Rockets playoff chances not to mention seriously impairing young Bill's NBA development. My bad...

You are mixing up my dissappointment in JVG and my long term goals for the Rockets.

I said repeatedly that it was too late to play V-Span in the playoffs since he did not play all year.

But to not play Snyder? When he knows the Utah playbook? Just wow !!

I do think V-Span is going to be good, but more importantly for my Rockets, I know that Rafer SUCKS....so the good ship JVG should have been trying anyone and everyone at that position during the season to find out if any of them are going to be the answer in the future.

    V-Span, JL3 etc..etc...

    Just want to be clear.
