throw one of Denver's trio (Clark, Lafrentz, McDyess.....probably Clark is the odd man out). or, this idea is a flyball in left field, Juwan Howard is out there. He's still 27, and has 3 more years left on his astronomical contract, he's scheduled to make to make 16.9 million this year but assuming davo's numbers are correct Walt+Bullard+Rogers+Drew+4.4 exception=15.17988 x 1.15=17.456862 if a change of scenery were to work for Howard like it did for Webber, then we get a 20-8-4 player, who's still on this side of 30. Or if he blows up....we're screwed for 3 years (including this year) This would pretty much screw up our cap....a team of Francis-Mobley-Anderson-Langhi-Cato-Collier-Howard=36.81585 million....over half of that total is Howard. Just some numbers to ponder on. For more random thoughts, the 03 free agency class (which Howard is a part of) looks REAL good. First, are all the people from Francis' draft class (Brand, Francis, Odom, and other guys such as Marion, Baron Davis, Maggette, Bender and James Posey) are all restricted free agents. Then there's Payton, Steve Smith, Shaquille O'Neal, Jermaine O'Neal, Quitten, Tom Gugliotta, Jason Kidd, Karl Malone, PJ Brown, Alonzo Mourning, Sam Cassell, Antonio Davis, Clifford Robinson. And, if Rashard plays out his 3 year contract....count him too. And if Duncan opts out of his deal after 3 years, don't forget about him....Carter's whole class is also scheduled to be a free agent class (Carter, Olowokandi, Jamison, Dickerson, K. Clark, Paul Pierce, Hughes, Lafrentz, Nowitzki) OK, I'm done, I think. ------------------ The more lefties on your team, the better. Collier is Seven Foot and Left Handed. How can you go wrong? Trade or bench Kenny Thomas. [This message has been edited by NIKEstrad (edited August 03, 2000).]
