I thought that, but he made it seem like that Francis only re-signed with Houston because of the money. I mean he called it a curious development (as if Francis signing with Houston was a weird thing or something).

I think he meant if Jordan was such an attraction for free agents, it was strange that Francis wouldn't want to come there. Therefore, Jordan isn't actually an attraction.

Come on, he was totally ripping Jordan. He even compared him to Jerry Krause.

The title of the article is: No big deal for free agents: playing for MJ.
