Rafael Stone may be more cunning than you give him credit for...
man, stop... there’s a reason Kelly Olynyk averages just 22 mpg for his career...toss his per 36 stats in the trash
Wouldn't be surprised to see Olynyk bought out. Even if that doesn't happen, I don't see a scenario in which he gets re-signed.
Say he plays next to wood and goes 16/8 with good 3pt shooting the rest of the year? I think they want him... if they were doing buyouts they could have bought out oladipo... the pick swap is unlikely to happen...
I like Olynyk. My issue isn’t with him, it’s with the fact that he’s a rental on the worst team in the NBA. He does nothing to help this team in the future, which is what we should have been going for. If he’s 25 years old and locked down on a good contract for a few years, that’s great! But guess what? After this year, he’s long gone...
They have bird rights and you can see if he fits with wood... we need quality backups. Wood went down and we were starting street free agents.. I like taking the look and re-signing if the money and performance is right... he reminds me a little of channing frye...
Ahaha were hyping up kelly olynk now? Doesnt get sadder than this. Kelly olynk is a salary filler. Thats it
LOL That is the hill you're going to die on? Or are you going to post more threads about how Olynyk is some hidden gem? LOL YOU ARE ONE DUMB MFER.
If he does that, another team will pay him more than we will. I dont see us spending big money on a 30-yo entering his 9th season next year.
He needs to start at Power Forward not Tate we are getting killed on the board. He would play well with Wood, both are good 3 point shooters, and both can rebound.
OP is the same one that compared PJ Tucker to Ben Wallace, Tate to Tayshaun Prince, and this sorry ass team to the Larry Brown Pistons he has a screw loose...must be some form of new age trolling
I suspect Kelly will be offered the MLE. We need a rebounding big that can stretch the floor and he is young enough to fit the Bill. we’ll see.
We get to swap our BKN pick next year if BKN is better than Miami and Miami isn't in the lottery. There's a strong likelihood it conveys in some respect.
More cunning if you think getting a pair of 30-year old players as a 30-game rental is a good return for Oladipo. Olynk is a useful bench player, but he'll be gone quickly. It's clear Olynk's and Bradley's 'futures' with the Rockets won't exceed 30 games....so how is this cunning? Morey (likely under duress from Tilmoron) **** the bed with the CP3 for Westbrook trade. Stone **** the bed with the Harden trade, and now with the Oladipo trade. I'll give him a C on the Wall/Westbrook trade. BOTH are untradeable contracts with the same years and salary. It's really hard to detonate a franchise as completely as the Rockets have in the past 24 months. We have John Wall (worst contract in the NBA), and a pile of likely LATE first rounders, and mostly useless pick swaps, as our 'haul' for Harden and Chris Paul. I'm not clear how anyone could have done worse as GM.
