JVG or Sloan better win this thing. Sam Mitchell? Please. Avery? He's got a loaded roster. He's a very good coach, but he's also got a VERY good squad of players.

It's Canada's only team. Every one of their games is sold out.

jvg holds the option for another season. the only reason i see why there's no announcement about a contract extension is he's holding out until after the playoffs where he'll have more leverage when discussing money. nothing wrong with that might i add.

While I agree that Van Gundy or Sloan should win it, the award isn't about the biggest improvement, its about the best coaching job. Big improvements may suggest a good coaching job or they could just indicate a poor coaching job the year before.

I think tmac had a lot to do with that too. He's done a good job this year, but if they dont make it out of the first round, the season is a waste

My money's on Sloan. He's done a great job as always, plus he's the sentimental favorite.

Hey, if Scorsese can win Oscars for "The Departed" then anything's possible. :)

NBA should set up a DeCOY so JVG can win it and all these silly JVG COY talks can die mercifully.

    JVG is a DeCOY.

    Happy now?
