I thought it was better overall when it was just Ernie, Kenny, and Charles.

Shaq doesn't really analyze anything he's only there for entertainment and to try and get a laugh out of you and he's not very good at it.

Shaq couldn't get a bigger offer to be on a Saturday morning show on Nickelodeon?

They should get rid of all four of them, and just let Frank Caliendo do the show!
He's smarter, and funnier than all four of them put together!!...

Shaq's personality is simply not suited for television media in any way, shape or form. He has zero charisma. It's just a bad fit, simple as that. He's not a bad person or anything...but it takes certain types of personalities and abilities to do well or even decent in TV media. Including things that are innate and unteachable, such as ad-libbing and thinking on your feet. You either have it or you don't.

Shaq just doesn't have it. He always strikes me as socially awkward. Hopefully TNT soon sees the light and lets him go.

The only reason they brought him in is that he's a popular celebrity. Who you are sometimes trumps your actual ability when it comes to TV ratings.

Please tell me you are kidding. Malone is a POS cheating scumbag a-hole redneck who I hope I never have to see or hear from again.

    That's his one saving grace

    Agreed

Shaq is just a personality... Unfortunately, he's not a very good TV Personality.

Shaqs inability for self deprecating humor and his massive ego are what plagues his role. Barkley is there for laughs and comedy. Remember when he was basically wolfing down imaginary penises on national tv?

After he made the SA fat comments, some dude started harassing him at a hotel and told him he's just playing a character on TV. Treat Inside the NBA like a comedy show or entertainment show. If you want analysis go watch boring ass Bill Simmons on ESPN.

    Just replace Shaq with CWebb.

Shaqtinafool is not done by Shaq, it's done by the TNT people who actually watch all the games to find bloopers.

Charles is naturally entertaining and does not a produced segment to do so.

I actually thought Shaq was good last night, and Barkley sounded like an idiot. Shaq was making some decent point and Chuck kept responding to to ally different ideas.

The magic is with Kenny Charles and EJ.

I don't mind a guess every now and then.

EJ is the glue guy that makes everything work. I don't think the show works with out EJ.

Definitely agree. EJ is good at keeping things moving and diffusing potentially awkward situations.

Shaq can't take a joke, can't stand anything at his expense. I just have to shake my head at his explanation of why they lost the 95 finals - really? Too much rest got you swept? Oh, you beat that team 3 times in a row in the regular season? Who remembers that except for you? No humility.

Often the "analysis" on this show is pretty weak, especially from Schmuquille ("They wanted it more") but I have to give it a pass because all three of them (and by extension, EJ) just love and respect Hakeem so much and basically try to one-up each other in praising him whenever he as a subject comes up. I can't get enough of that.
