Just relaying a minor tidbit I got... Eric Gordon's back is not fundamentally right. He can still play at full strength, but it is vulnerable to injury - whether this season or in 5-10 years. It's something that can't be healed or performed on at this stage. There is no direct cause for such an issue. If Gordon were to get any sort of back trauma or injury, then that's when it becomes a real issue - expect it to linger for the rest of his career.
Then don't post it . He has been out with back spasms before but that could have been in consequence to other injuries, right?
Not necessarily... this is a structural issue that could turn chronic if he injures the back. Back spasms (which he's had just a little bit here and there over the past two or three years but of no major concern at the times) could exacerbate the problem.
I won't believe this crap until you give me a source, or any info where you heard from, or a link to tell me this. If not, **** off.
Are you the director of that Dwight ad for Memorial Hermens or you just slept at Holiday Inn Express last night?
Here's your source: http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2015/9/15/9326713/eric-gordon-profile-new-orleans-pelicans And the condition is scoliosis, which was diagnosed before his first year in high school. This is not any news, and he has not had any issues with it during his basketball career. Although technically I guess OP is correct since scoliosis is a structural condition, but the severity varies. Sort of like James Harden's anterior pelvic tilt.
Clutchfans hated on the guy who posted on Dekker's back too. Thanks for info. Its probably true given the guy is hurt so much.
Scoliosis isn't always structural.... You can develop functional scoliosis through injuries or incorrect movemen.... Considering it also says he had a significant injury getting tackled as a kid, I think there's a good chance it isn't structural, unless he knew about it before then?
