You wrote earlier in the thread, "Ariza is just a valuable spare part, we are after bigger fish." So is he the future of our franchise, or just a key role player? You're all over the board, man. This thread's turning in to a complete joke.

We certainly need posters like you. Just to provide some much needed laugh for a season that could be pretty bad.

lol, morey is making trades like he is on nba 2k9. Ariza for now is the superstar on this team, but if something better comes along; a) he is gone b) he will learn to be a better team player.

I know Morey wants to play hardball, but I doubt he really wants Ariza starting his Rocket's career with T-mac either on the bench or still on the roster

Morey, how about z and fillers from Cleveland. They can get rid of Z without airing out dirty laundry, and they have t-mac, an xtra motivation for lebron to stay.

If the season goes bad early on, they can always tell lebron to wait until tmac returns to help solve all his problems

if the season goes great, they can point at tmac and say, "he's only the icing on the cake.

If at the end of the season, lebron doesn't win again. we have most of his sophomore year teammates and can provide sort of a safe haven for him.

Morey, I don't care how you do it but we need Z, wally and pavlovic. Actually we don't need wally that much, if they wanna add him, ask for some future 1st round picks, to use later on for another trade.

So far, we got Z, pavlovic, wallace (see if they can buy him out, and you sign him on the cheap) or (we can sign him trade for him, buy him out- let people think he is going back to cleveland, then we can sign him up again.

See if we dangle Shane Battier to detroit, how much more will they require for Prince. we got plenty spare parts.'

Finally, we need a player like Dahntay Jones or Courtney Lee, more Dahntay Jones than courtney lee tho.

And when Yao is done resting and returns later on this season or never, he will be the icing on the cake

This thread is beautiful. The OP has delighted us all with ridiculous assumptions, suggestions, and petitions directly to Daryl Morey. Just doing some brief calculations I've found some intersting numbers.

    Posts by OP, Illmatic: 17

    Total posts (to date): 47

This gives the OP an incredible 36.17 post percentage in his own thread. Is this some sort of record?

Also, The OP has asserted that the following players are imperative to a championship and/or can be had at very little cost:

    Lebron James
    Dwight Howard
"winners, either collegiate level or d-league or dunk contests" (still unsure about the true meaning of this)
    Emeka Okafor
    Channing Frye
    Ben Wallace
    Marvin Williams
    Lamar Odom
"a bigger imposing version of Dorsey"
    Dwyane Wade
    Chris Bosh
    Joe Alexander
    Zydrunas Ilgauskas (+ fillers)
    Sasha Pavlovic
    Dahntay Jones
    Courtney Lee

    In Morey we trust, indeed.

if mcgrady plays one game for the rockets this next season, Morey loses 20% of my respect. That means he values business over loyalty, look where that got Pritchard

That's not really fair. If nobody wants McGrady, you can't fault Morey.

True, but I believe there are teams that would love to have Tmac. It is just that Morey is probably taking his time for the right deal to come.

morey, we also need a new "assistant coach" to assist the "coach".

;emme throw out a name to you and you can think about it

Ariza and whomever else will come in needs an old school mind with new ideas, to light and spark their fire. Might I suggest Eldridge Recasner

With the Magic matching the offer of the Mavs, I do not think He is interested. Morey gave his offer which Gortat probably felt is not his value and looked elsewhere. Its time for Morey to look elsewhere to.

    my answer

I would take Big Ben- to mentor Dorsey, and Aldridge, trade Scola to Pritchard.

Morey if the deal on Tmac is still on ice, then make a package with Landry and "at least" start talking to The Charlotte Boobs, so that when the time comes, they won't act surprised. If mcgrady is stalling on us, let's talk to Chicago(michael jordan) about Wallace, Adelman used to coach Wallace. That might either get the Mcgrady thing moving fast or at the very least, net us Gerald Wallace.

That establishes rapport with Chicago just "in case", we might need to come back for Emeka Okafor, just in case. Although i think Detroit has eyes on him now
